Under what scenarios is breastplate better than herbal remedy?
I’ve seen popo’s poison proc even if the damage is absorbed, but I have never seen deadly poison proc if tiger frenzy is absorbed by helene breastplate… Am i just lucky?

Don’t get the breastplate, opt for the all natural defense.

“Innate, item, and buff-related procs are only rolled if the attack does damage (except Ring of Curses). Attack procs are rolled regardless of the attack being absorbed or not. For example, Phoebe cannot disable Onimaru’s item by using Deafening Crack, because the damage will always be absorbed – but the decreases hit rate caused by Deafening Crack itself will still happen.”
This means that Deadly Poison would not proc if Helene+Breastplate absorbs the Tiger Frenzy, but that Popo’s poison can prof regardless of whether it’s being absorbed or not. So no, you’re not just lucky.

What about if you had a team with Margo or one of the blood burners? Still remedy over breastplate?

Marquis Le morte is one of the blood burners and Cornelius Constantine is the other. In that case, they will attack you with dark magic, and they will nuke you. They will kill you whether you have herbal remedy or breastplate.
Breastplate is useful in only restricted cases, like if you have a Anex vs Onimaru, you can absorb sword flurry and he has to waste a lot of mana. And also in Phoebe. But I don’t recommend to have that item, breastplate is only to make tankier helene. Remedy is for the other amazons.
Valkyrie charm is useless and also the candle.

I don’t agree with anything you said.. especially about the Candle being useless.
And what I meant was if you had CC landing blood burns or margo landing heartache cocktails, drastically reducing attacks with multiple hits. And whether that was enough to make breastplate superior over remedy.

If Breastplate saves more than 3 hp per turn, then it is better.

yes but thats only against physical damage and only one for light and dark and breast plate doesnt work for poisin burn stench damage via agathe de grey and herbal remedy will still give you health if the attack misses wich makes it great with phoebe because of defening crack but breast plate would be better with most knights and martial artists so in my opinion there equal but i prefer herbal remedy
