Haha, nah, there was 0 attempt at changing things.
Largely just for nostalgia, as I stated at the top.
And because I just enjoy writing a mini guide for fun. Purely for my own enjoyment. :)
Now onto the newest challenge and card, which is the card…
MR-V1N, the Synthetic Depressive
The game, Hands of War 3
The goal, beat the first boss, a Hydra.
Well, this game is a bit long as it is an action RPG.
Consequently, it’s not going to be so simple to adequately give a quick walkthrough without doing way more work writing all tasks steps out fully. But I’ll tell you the best way to go in a general sense.
Most importantly. First, start as a magician.
Magicians are broken. They can stand behind building and fire spells off with 100% immunity in a good selection of cases. For example, if there are any enemy ranged units (mages / archers) they will shoot the wall over and over, giving you a perfect victory)
For simplicity, I place all his stats to Focus so you never have to worry about potions. It makes some fights slower, but it makes long fights less annoying.
Second choice to make is Alliance (not Blood Runners)
Alliance seems to give you a better tank unit. Give him all Stamina upgrades and set him to Tank.
First thing you do in the game is go and do all the Alliance quests until you get your Tank. Triton. (make sure he is set to Tank mode!)
Then you go do all your Magician tasks at the south of the map (and buy the skill Mark of Fire!)
Then go north and do more Magician quests until you get the second unit, another mage (infinity broken!) named Serena. (set her to dps mode)
The second mage you get set to DPS (instead of healer) and dump all her points into SPEED. There seems to be some sort of glitch with her where her DPS will go to INFINITELY (LOL) and now you can pwn the game.
Next go to the Alliance quests until you get to the boss Hydra.
If you are losing, try buying some potions and grinding a few level ups.
In theory, infinite potions = almost any fight can be won. (potions = 20% heal, 2 second cooldown, so, high stamina can really help even on a mage with knight armors)
If they patch Serena so she is not bugged anymore (infinity DPS!) then set her to Healer and use Grace as her main stat.
Also, if you continue playing, choosing to be Commoner (rather than Merchant or Mercenary) gets you access to a third! Magician! The game is now now officially broken and as easy as it can be. :P
