Now that I have your attention. This topic is dedicated to the weekly Kongregate Kongai Challenge for a free card.

The weekly challenge can be found here:
http://www.kongregate.com/current_challenges

I encourage any one to post here weekly, their own info on how to beat the weekly challenge the quickest and easiest. Or just tips on that game. Whatever. Just to kill it reeeal quick like.

The new cards are released every Thursday night, very late.

BTW, if you consider yourself a gamer who sometimes wants to get high scores on the Kongregate score board, add me as a friend/fan:
http://www.kongregate.com/accounts/FateIsEscaped
You can check on my progress through the high score screens, on the Achievement Tab (the clicking on high scores) by the Chat window, and clicking on the Friends tab in there, and compete with me through whatever that game has as high scores :)
A lot of games of the week I enjoy trying to break into the top 100 on a few of the score boards.

This week’s card is Zina of the Tiki Tribe Villagers.
http://kongregate.wikia.com/wiki/Zina <—Free Edit Kongai Wiki, tips and advice for Zina.

This week’s card is from Frantic 2.
http://www.kongregate.com/games/polymerrabbit/frantic-2

Here’s how to get the card the quickest.

Select Menu Options: (checkmark these)
Quality Lowest
Hitbox
Single Color
Black Background

Now go to Start.
Easy
Keyboard or Mouse
Second Ship (mothership)
Episode 1

The way to play is easy with this ship. Go to the absolute bottom center of the screen and move left and right to cover most of the screen with our bullets. DO NOT try to concentrate fire (except on bosses, and some slightly tougher enemies later). Spread spread spread. Don’t even try too hard to pick up every coin. Mostly concentrate on the bigger drops that have a flashing aura around them (purples and 100 cents coins, but 10s too). Move up and down a little to avoid some bullets but keep to the mindless left and right pattern.

For bosses, mostly concentrate a little on hitting him and his turrets, but really, just dodge at the bottom of the screen.

At the end of the stage you want to buy some upgrades. Absolute first buy is some wingman.

Buy the 2nd row, 1st wingmen laser once. Then the:
Item 4th row, 1st (coin magnet) (your left right pattern maxes this!)
Then upgrade your wingman again if you can.
Then wingmen lasers again.
Then wingmen lasers again.

The basic buying strategy is, wingmen lasers, and money. Your main gun isn’t even that important to up. Those lasers rock.

5 stages, and you go to the shop 4 times. After the wingmen, start upping your main gun (wave/ripple gun). In the final 4th shop (before the final stage), dump all money items and go to wingmen powerups and main gun powerups since you’ll never go back to the shop anyway and therefore have no need of money anymore.

This is the best way I’ve found to do it quick.

You can do it if you want! I really just intend for this to be for anyone to do whenever. Even if multiple people. A bit of a community thing.

Anyway, this week’s challenge was easy fo sheezy.

It was a Deadly Poison item, perfect to go along with last week’s Zina!

http://kongregate.wikia.com/wiki/Deadly_Poison <—Free Edit Kongai Wiki, tips and advice with Deadly Poison!

The game is Vector The Siege!
http://www.kongregate.com/games/DigYourOwnGrave/vector-conflict-the-siege

It’s really simple. This challenge.
Save up 500 resources.
There is no clever plan for this. I’ve tried alternate ways and the simple plan is the best plan.

Just don’t buy anything.

No waiting is needed.
No timely purchases of resource bonuses.

Nothing makes it quicker other than the obvious.

Just put the game on Easy mode.

And do not be afraid at all. Your bunker is pretty much invincible in Easy for this challenge (don’t worry about your shields, they regen too).

Main thing to watch for are the purple ships (watch your radar for blip swarms) as these ships give good resources when killed, otherwise you lose them if you let them explode first. So ignore the tanks to get these guys first.

That’s great that Greg tries to match up the cards! That should be a part of the game’s card drops! It should always drop a card to match one you are missing!

Okay, challenge time!

This week’s is Andromeda!

http://kongregate.wikia.com/wiki/Andromeda <—Free Edit Kongai Wiki, tips and advice for Andromeda!

The game is Pixel Vader!
http://www.kongregate.com/games/x_boost/pixelvader

Very similar to Frantic 2, from 2 weeks ago.

Here’s the easiest way to get the card.

You must kill 300 enemies.
I find it best to…

Beat the first stage.
Buy the diagonal forward guns for spread fire.
Then after you get 2000 more money, press P to Pause and Quit.
the go and sell the diagonal guns, and then buy the homing missiles.
Now all you do is sit about 2 squares down from the top center of the screen and SIT.
YES. JUST SIT. The homing missles will win the game for you.
Next thing to buy is he diagonal BACK guns, to level 2.
Just let the game reload a few times when the boss kills you.
Being high on the screen means no bullets can catch you!
And then homing missiles will do all the work! LOL
And that’s it really.

BTW!

This week’s game (valkyrie Charm) looks tough for a “best” solution.

http://www.kongregate.com/games/ArmorGames/frontier

Haven’t played it too much yet! If anyone has a good QUICK solution to the game, for the Vanguard Ship, do tell!

Well I have completed it for the vanguard ship. It is quite an interesting method. Basically to get it fast you dont want attack or defense. You want 4 travel (to avoid those annoying people) and 2 trade.

You then want to get the upgrade for the cart in order to carry more items. Basically what you will be doing is buying items and then selling it for a higher price in the next town. This does not take a lot of time (around 20-30 minutes). Then buy a diamond in Kyre for around 8000 gp. Then 10 clothes will be cheap to buy afterwords. THen buy the ship.

An alternative strategy that works pretty well is to travel to Rubix and buy lots of cloth. then you can return to root and sell for a profit of 5 per piece of cloth. With 5000 gp to start with it will take a semi long time until you can buy other items such as timber. After timber your money will increase substantionally. If you just want the feather, rob the people and open the chests as it will give you a very nice profit. After reading 8000 travel to Kyre to buy the diamond. Then you have your vanguard.

I’ll be doing this every week if you need more help fate.

buy diamonds at laville and sell them at this one place that buys them for like 16k that’s 7k profit per diamond. i made my million doing that

For Frontier, more specifically, if you have at least 8400 worth of gold, go to Tasselfoot. You must purchase 10 cloth first.

Just use the glitch. Buy - 10 narcotics and you get cash. Let enforcers take it and the money left could be used to buy the vanguard. Its not cheating. Its a glitch.

hey if you like to do your decks perfect try prefer to put tigers claw instead of deadly poison on zina’s item

poison is better because claws only work on physical attacks, so if zina kills, her attacks become dark, making claws useless.

This was great so far, lots of tips. Which is good, because, I am still not really sure what’s the best way. :)

But here’s the way I’m going to suggest.

This week’s game was Frontier!

Basic idea, make a huge profit percentage per DAY.

I have not been able to truly research the hyper best and honest ways to get money. So as legodude says!
What you can do is simple. The game has 2 major money exploits.
The best 1 is go into any shop. Have enough money to buy any 1 or any item.
Now, make the number to buy up to 99 of that item. (just press the MAX button)
Now add a negative sign to that number.
Click Purchase and game over. LOL
You will now be able to make infinite money.
It’s like you are selling items you don’t have and getting free gold!
You will have negative numbers but it doesn’t matter. Items are just for gold anyway and you can’t be caught for negative illegal goods either. :)

That is the best way if you want to take advantage of a game destroying programming error.

My legit method is as follows:
Do as DMX suggests and put your TRAVEL stat to 4, and 2 in trade. (I personally don’t even thing TRADE stat WORKS. I think it’s broken in the game, but in case…)

But now travel to the town of ROOT. 3 trips south of the start city.
Rob everyone.
Now. Look at all the towns around you. They should nearly all be RED.
That’s because ROOT has HORRIBLE prices all around in my experience.

First tip.
Look for a cheap Diamond nearby. Add 500 gold on top (for the 10 Cloth). This will be your target goal.

Now. Only look for items of Timber and better items. Forget the cheap stuff.
You only have 30 item slots, so, you need to make the most of your space.
Why? Example:
5000 (starting gold) divided by 30 = 167.
That means items worth less than that hit your beginner storage ceiling.
Timber is the cheapest item you want to haul around for now. (when you get more gold before the Vanguard, Timber maxes out too, move up one more item)

The best way to figure things out now is to see what gives the best percentage gain.
Easy way to figure that.
Take the price, and move the decimal place to the left. Then compare profit gains.
Example.
If TIMBER is 218 gold, and the RED loss is 46 that means you’ll be making 20% gain on each trade.
Why? 218.0 = 21.80 ~= 22.00 = 10%.
22 goes into 46 a little over 2 times (44).
That’s a decent profit.
But we want better. Going to ROOT I’ve seen profits of 40-50% with neighbor towns on many many items.

Once you find that item at a neighbor town, travel there, buy, go back to ROOT, sell, go back, buy, ROOT sell.
Always FLEE from fights. You will easily survive. Just keep running.
I’ve been able to get the Vanguard in 2 selling trips, but most often 3.

Now buy that Diamond and 10 cloth.

The Vanguard is yours!

Now, you can continue on the legit path for a bit more, or use the second game breaking exploit. If you buy another Diamond, you can sell the Vanguard back for the Tank, and you will MAKE money. Over and over and over. (the oney is in selling the Silver and Iron)

A few more game tips for beyond the Card Challenge.

In the Tavern you can rehire clones of employees there if you exit the tavern, and then return. You can rehire that 4 DEF and 4 STR guy over and over for a max’d team. :)

You can reload the tavern with fresh blood by going back to the main menu and then reloading your game. This way you can get the perfect employee.

IMO, the perfect employee has 0 in TRADE. As money ends up useless eventually. 4 STR. Offense is always good for conquering cities. 4 DEF for the same reason. And then 2 in TRAVEL, for less annoyances on the road.

Another tip. While the Tavern is the easiest for employees. The people you find on the road can be the best characters. Taverns can only have people with 10 stat points. People on the road can be 12. Though it is rare.

If you want to conquer a town, it is always best to travel to that town first, then attack the town from within (1 day travel). That way there are the least annoyances and you’ll have the most health.

Also, for the “perfect build” for the main character. I don’t know. I think the best build is 4 ATTACK and 2 DEFENSE. This is all to go for the goal of gathering cities in the end game. Even totally maxed out conquering cities is a roll of the dice. You need every scrap of power. Someone may suggest 4 DEFENSE instead? Maybe that is better?

Haven’t played the new game yet for this week’s challenge. Here it is.

Let’s see some tips. :)

for MLM, start a new game,
1 choose bootcamp, play the 1st bootcamp training wherein you use 2 scorpion tanks and destroy 2 weaker tanks…
2 go to options and click “CLEAR DATA
3 play the 1st bootcamp game again and just repeat until you’ve done 5 repeats

You should be able to get MLM by then if you don’t get DC’d while playing a game…
it’s the fastest way to get 5 games in that game rather than playing the whole campaign

And finally this week’s Card Challenge features resident black magic bad boy Juju on Trap Master:

Score 20000 points, that simple.

For Trap Master, invest in traps early, and set up the heavy “drop” weapons over the stairs to knock back people climbing up (you may want to put freeze rays near the stairs too, to slow them down more). Don’t invest in the “one and done” traps until you get the fire-ladder and the goo-bridge.

The corrosive trap is really useful if you stick it near where the enemies come out of, since it gets them immediately. Instead of buying a lot of traps, it’s better to save up and upgrade the Doom Box (it will drive off enemies on it’s own by that point)

It takes a long time, but if you power up the chest correctly, you don’t need to do anything but fight the magician every 10 levels.

Interesting! I don’t have any great ideas for Trap Master, but, I have found that getting a no damage BONUS for the doom box is something to absolutely strive for. 1000 dollars dwarfs any other bonuses.

Another tip, heavy stack ice and poison turrets on the right side of the map, and then personally man the left side.

One more tip, if you place a turret (or 2) near the doom box, you can win a lot of stages without losing but you will take damage. I think double ice turrets might be best. They slow down the damage a lot.

Oh wait, reminds me, one more tip. Pick the snail monster and not the centipede. The snail is a bit slower but his splash damage is GREAT! He can often 1 hit kill things, combined with the splash damage = PWN.

Personal best: Beat Wave 1 with a Money Pile of 2825 dollars. Got the random bonus cash, no damage, and ate a lot of the humans (but not all).

1200 (base) + 1000 (no damage) + 400 (cash) + 225 (eat)

Anyone know what the “Living on the Edge” bonus is? (500) I’ve gotten it but I don’t know how.

Epic Battle Fantasy 2 tips, since that’s also this week’s ticket. Why not.
http://www.kongregate.com/games/kupo707/epic-battle-fantasy-2

Main tip: Whatever move you use a lot, you can upgrade at the end of the wave. Therefore, here are the best ones IMO.

Use No Legs with the main guy a lot in the first stages to build up to Cat Warrior and Cat Item automatic counters. These are very helpful for the rest of the game.

Also abuse Ariel Strike. IMO one of the best attacks he has. Also learn that move’s auto attack. Also learn that move’s Bomb upgrade.

I find the best general use Sword to use is the Stone/Earth sword. High physical power, great defense. Low magic and evade, but, that’s okay usually.

With the girl, abuse Lucky Star/Pulsar and Bunny Slime only, so you can power them up.

However, with Bunny Slime, do NOT get BUNNY!! random auto cast move. IMO, it’s a waste of an upgrade as Bunny Slime lasts a long time anyway, the auto cast is unreliable, and casting Bunny Slime normally is low MP anyway. Other upgrades are better.

Upgrades, I tend to go Offense (girl gets magic, boy = sword attack) twice, and 1 more for each defense, in that pattern.

Cat bonus levels, how to rock them.

Back the cat up.
WAIT WAIT WAIT for enemies to appear, run in and very close press DOWN, UP, run in more DOWN, UP. You should now be on the other side of the screen with all enemies dead.
Rinse, repeat.

At the shop don’t forget you can sell items you won’t use for full price. You can get a nice chunk of change this way.

Best items I find are ethers (NOT FULL!), revives, and stunners. Basic ethers are enough (the others have massive overfill). Stuns are very useful on some bosses / enemies. Spend the cheap cash on stunners.

NEW CHALLENGE OUT!

http://www.kongregate.com/games/EpicShadow/tower-of-greed

TOWER OF GREED

Just what I’ve been looking for! :)

Not too difficult to finish this week’s challenge. A couple of things to keep in mind:

1) The difficulty doesn’t seem to ramp up the longer you go
2) Items are plentiful, but you can only carry one at a time, so use them often
3) You have to LEAVE (get to a door) for your score to count

So if you’re just looking for points, go for low hanging fruit. The most important thing is to keep yourself well situated to make sure you don’t die (have the floor catch up to you). Don’t take big risks if it jeopardizes your position. Stay as close to the top as you can. Look at the gem values: blue and white are way more than green gems, so don’t bother risking anything for the green ones. White gems are sometimes in very risky positions which can’t be survived unless you can freeze time, but you don’t generally need any white gems if you’re just looking to get the card.

Just stay near the top and grab whatever gems you can safely grab, and you should have the required 25,000 pts around level 12 or 13. Then just ignore everything until you reach the next door and exit.
