Don’t you hate when people keep switching and you can’t land an attack?
And the right when you think they are switching you intercept and miss?
And the they attack you?
Well….. I just hate those people
DON'T YOU JUST HATE PEOPLE WHO JUST KEEP SWITCHING OUT?

That just means you suck at interpretting your opponent. I think their doing a good job if they’ve prevented you from reading their moves. |
Don’t you also hate when the opponent tries to win? |
I have to agree with metalmadness. That’s like saying “Don’t you hate when the opponent wins?” |

lol noobs these days. |

Any strategy can be annoying to play against. Adapt; it’s beatable. Did you consider that maybe your playing style can annoy others? Switching out often is just as viable as a strategy as whatever strategy you use. Now you have made yourself appear to be both an angry and immature person. I’m not trying to flame you here, nor am I saying that I think that of you, as I often have angry issues with some games. Just advising you to remember to not post/say anything you will regret later. |

Love those poeple. High damage without losing any energy at all. |
okay stop it with these things i know i hate it too but its a tatic like in ww2 im sure hitler was fusrated when the enemy kept retreting when he didnt want to so deal with it |
Someone called me a noob once because I beat him through constant and strategic switching. These little kids act like switching out is using the cheat code. I just consider frequent switching guerrila warfare. |
I hate then to! But it’s a god way, to out-think your oponent! |
Plus watching them rage-quit after the third intercept is always funny. |
okay i hope you get my point so shut the hell up ok!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!♣♣ |

Nevermind… Metaloverlord, I’m one of those who will usually quit after being intercepted three times in a row… If it ever happens.. Taking 3 intercepts might mean either losing one card, taking butloads of damage or having all your cards take moderate to high damage while your enemy is probably unscathed. All in all, it’s sometimes easier to just give the guy his already earned victory than keep trying to win an uphill battle… Now, for Kimikaya’s post: try playing some unranked games and learn new moves. It’ll help you undesrtand the game and your oponents mind better. Also, switching is not only a good reliable(if risky) tactic as it is pretty much required for some deck/card combinations… It’s a part of the game, and it’s useful. Learn more about it instead of complaining, it’ll make you a better player. |

Preach it, Criks! An important part of the game is energy management. For every evaded attack, your opponent wastes energy. Switching is a fabulous way to drain their energy – just don’t do it the same way twice in a row, lol. If you are frustrated with ANY aspect of the game, ask around for an experienced player in the chat rooms. There is almost always someone on who would be willing to explain aspects or play a private match with you if you are polite and willing to learn. |

Ha. Fun thread. I like to switch out a lot myself, and yes I try to keep it as unpredictable for the foe as possible while not doing something stupid with it at the same time (a.k.a. Doing It Wrong™). There have been times when I get read for doing so. And there have even been times where I get intercepted multiple times in a row (one time ages ago I opened with Onimaru and lost him right off the bat). No matter what, though, I finish every battle I start, even when it seems (or is) hopeless, and never ragequit. And also: whenever I lose a match I have no one to blame but myself. Kongai is about skill, not luck; I lost because I was weak, I just need to come back after I get stronger and let this defeat fuel that. Either way, this game is mostly just a fun social activity for me (and hopefully most of us). It’s nothing to be taken so life-threateningly seriously. For that, there are the Pokemon games. XDDD (In fact hey, I remember the creator of Kongai mentioning that Kongai exists specifically because Pokemon were awesome games that were needlessly complicated and there should be a similar, less-complex game that’s equally fun and imaginative. This.) |

Heh, consider investing in Anex, Yoshi, or Tafari. That or lrn2notstinkatintercepting. |

Yes…unfortunately we are all too familiar with getting hit with crit slingshot after slingshot. |

Yeah… Well, I’m the guy who slingshots popo and gets the crit for the game win. LUCK WINS!!! And I’m also not very good at interpreting. I would suggest Andromeda or the like. |

Actually, switching out doesn’t annoy me nearly as much as when a supposedly 95% move misses three times in a row… In fact, I think that was the only game that I rage-quit. |
