New card decks

I appologise if this has been asked before but about a year ago some new Kongai card decks were announced. Is there any progress in the implementation of these decks, or were they all rumours?
I was really looking forward to them but I can imagine implementation brings some balance issues.

20 new character cards + 20 new items are already in Beta Testing

the new cards are witches, knights, pirates and robots.

Also the older cards got some updates (anex nerfed, Helene buffed, reinforced breastplates buffed, gem of souls buffed, etc…)

Again, there is this thread from sirlin’s site where some of the beta testers were discussing what is left. It sounds like it is kinda close but there are still some bugs that are holding it up. I don’t of any goal for the release that Kongregate has stated or anything though.
