If you want to trust someone with your password, you can (although that’s not what I reccomend).
However if someone asks for it, I wonder if they’re really trustworthy? Since it implies that they actually want it, and they obviously have their own reason for wanting it, and it’s pretty easy to lie about your intentions on the internet.
