Level Editing Help

I was making a level and when I was making my hat machine I messed up and the the number 1 starting spot disappeared. When I tested to see if it might still work, it just goes to a black screen (the sound still works) and I have to refresh the page. Can someone help me?

How about pressing New and restarting your hat machine? Unless you already made the entire level, which would be stupid considering the glitches that a hat remover/machine’s process can cause.

Anyways, never seen a black screen, but I have had my hat remover glitched and had my P1/P2/P3/P4 taken away several times due to my carelessness of a hat remover’s actual process. It gets taken into a place I call “Heaven”. The P1/P2/P3/P4 is taken to a place with a tree in layer 1, a tree in layer 2, and a tree in layer 3, which is “Heaven”. In reality, it is just a far corner in the up-left corner of the level editor. It’s fairly simple to fix this glitch. Just drag P1/P2/P3/P4 back to the starting point. It may seem like forever, but it won’t take more than a minute, and you will see the other Ps.

Well your glitch description doesn’t fit the one I just explained, so that might not have helped; just saying to anyone who posts that glitch here as an addition since it fits around the same topic.

That may help bercause the black screen only shows up when I test so I will look for it, thank you. Yes I had my entire level already made because I did the hat machine for P2, P3, P4 but left P1 to drag it around and test individual parts of the map. Thanks for the help!

Edit: congrats on the 500th, found “heaven” but no luck with the P1 :/
Edit 2: I published it anyways, and it seems P1 spawns in “heaven” (no chance of getting back to the map) but the rest of the Ps work. Still no luck in finding P1 on editor, there go my ratings…

Oh, you’re welcome. Sorry I couldn’t help all the way, but there is a way someone said they did when they couldn’t drag it back to the start. They simply made a stairway back to the starting point from Heaven and it worked. It doesn’t really appeal much if someone’s looking for style in the map, etc., but it’s very effective. Also, you coulda just pressed Undo when it happened, but it’s obviously too late for that. =l
