Folding@Home

Q: what is folding at home?

A: OK so lets make it clear, folding at home is a downloadable program, not a race in PR2. it has a medicinal purpose: to research in the folding of proteins combining many small computers worldwide to create a huge supercomputer.

Q: what has F@H to do with Platform racing 2?

A: In F@H you can create teams, Jiggmin has his own team.
By entering your PR2 name and Jiggmins team number into F@H you can join his team.

Q: Where do i get folding@Home?

A: You get it here: http://folding.stanford.edu/English/Download

Q: how do i install F@H?

A: when you have chosen your operating system a window should pop up (surprise :P) press run and a installation process should start, after that just press next.

Q: how do i open F@H?

A: Start menu —> Programs —> folding@home —> press the colorful icon

Q: how do i start using F@H?

A: after you have opened F@H Right click the icon (The icon is down in the right corner) choose “Configure” a window should popup, for username enter your PR2 name and for team number enter: 143016 (jiggmins team number) you dont have to fill out the password, its just rubbish.
After this you must be patient, because the folding process can take a day or more.

Q: why havent u still answered to the question: what do u get for doing this boring procedure?

A: you get points and with enough points you get rewards to your PR2 account

1000 pts: +3 ranks to your account
5000 pts: crown hat
100 000 pts: super flying cowboy hat (takes very long time, when you’re done with that PR3 has already come out :P )

Your computer can get slow when f@h is on, but its worth it :)

if the website doesnt work, its probably your computers fault

You should try adding in how to use Folding@Home on your Playstation 3, as a lot of people seemed to be doing that.

Does having 2 Computer folding for 1 Account give you Extra points?

Example:
Username: Jiggmin
Computer 1 is folding for Jiggmin
Computer 2 is folding for Jiggmin

SO do You get Extra points when 2 computer are folding for your account? Please reply!

When you have completed (in this case) 5000/5000 you get one work unit (WU) and one WU gives XXX number of points

F@H broke my brothers computer so I’m gonna pass on this =/

Well, Mine is taking days so im gonna earn about 1000 or more points when mine is done.!!!: I Already Rate Yours five so think good about yours is in all time best and if you have yours high then noobs wont be high idiot. So i guess you think im the only good artist that can make it to alltimbest? If How to draw 3 were to drop a page, it would be replaced by very good deserving levels. By noobs, i meant people like you who dont understand the rating system. You think one rating of 5 on a level with 15000 plays will affect it!?
