Is there any safe place to stand to avoid the tentacle waves? or what is a good strategy for beating them? I get wiped out pretty fast- only level 29 though.

Level 29, U mad? Don’t be so excited, finish Yetinothah first, you can get more exp on that Island. It’s actually pretty easy when your on the right level.

Yes, there actually is a safe place. You probably won’t get hit if you stand right in front of the octopus’ head.
