good option is to reset all players statistics obtained by s-shard. This should be easy.
statistics acquired by s-shard replace to “neutral stones”. each player can allocate neutral stones according to the rules.

example (it’s just an idea)
adds 5-10 (max) to all stat. as a bonus

Problem with OP players (statistics) would be solved

Another option is to simply not have stat stone bonuses applied to your AI character, or just nullify them completely in PvP. But then again, there’d be no use to having them if they didn’t make you stronger in PvP. =/

But unlimited potential for development is the whole point of Shards, isn’t it? Limiting amount ot stones you can allocate to a certain attribute would undermine the whole idea – you can just remove shards at all in that case.

(And, mind you, this is coming from someone who only has 51 stones to her name)
