AHAHAHAHAHA
Having the physical copy of the album is so awesome. And you can get the artist to sign it. Doubt anyone would sign a pirated copy.
GUISE LOOK I GOT DIS GUY 2 SIGN THIS THING THAT I BOUGHT FROM HIM
LOOK THIS IS SO COOL
I HAVE A SIGNATURE
OH GOD I FEEL SO AMAZING HE GAVE ME SOMETHING THAT IS WORTHLESS
Worthless? You know how much you can sell these things for? And you know what it means for a fan?

Having Ubuntu doesn’t stop you from downloading music.

yeah, i know
can buy songs over Ubuntu One.
but i would much rather buy the CDs than download the songs because
- i can listen to it in the car
- i don’t need an MP3 player that i will just chuck in the washer within 3 weeks.
- i can download it to any computer in my house.

There are no personal pros to buying music when you can get it for free
And no one ever gets caught
