I’m trying to convert a .dat file to a .swf file. Does anyone know of a converter that can do this?
I doubt it, but here’s hoping. And yes, I’ve tried Googling and the three programs I’ve downloaded haven’t helped.
.dat? Sorry, which one is that? .SWF is a finished playable file, .FLA is an editable flash file… What’s a .DAT?

You can’’t “convert” a .dat file to a swf; it really doesn’t make any sense. Swfs are binary Flash multimedia files and .dat files are ASCII. I don’t get what you are trying to achieve by converting it to a swf….
AC’s right, that’s not gonna work.

I don’t think you can convert a text file to a flash file….
I think you have no idea what your talking about
