I’m blaming everything on shitty pacing. I honestly believe that the entire problem would have been fixed if they didn’t force two seasons into one. There would have been time for character development, fight scenes could have lasted longer, and they wouldn’t have needed to resort to instant death moves to progress. There is no excuse for the worthless side stories at the beginning though.

I think the word “overrated” was invented to describe SAO. I really hope they do a better job if they decide to start another season.

Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou is the next Nichijou

SAO is kinda like the fast food of anime. It’s not real high quality stuff, but it’s still a little enjoyable.
