I personally, spend money on skins I like as my way of supporting riot (when skins go on sale, of course). Paying to buy champs though, is silly. You get them normally by actually playing.

Anyway, Jayce’s abilities got possibly leaked

Passive: Jayce gains 40 bonus Movespeed and ignores unit collision for 1.25 seconds after each shift.

Hammer Form:

Q – Thunderstrike: Deals magic damage based on % of target’s max HP and knocks target away.
W – Thunderleap: Jayce jumps to target location, dealing physical damage and applying a slow to all enemies hit.
E – Shift Cannon: Shifts into cannon form, gaining increased range and new abilities.

Cannon Form:

Q – Gate of Speed: Jayce summons an electrical gate boosting the Movespeed of teammates passing through. If Jayce’s ranged attacks pass through this gate, the projectiles gain damage/range/speed.
W- Energy Charge: Jayce charges himself with electricity, gaining attack speed for a few attacks.
E- Shift Hammer: Shifts into hammer form, gaining passive armor and magic resist and new abilities.

R- Lighting Field (Both forms): Passive: Jayce gains Mana on Auto attack. Active: Create a Lighting field dealing AoE damage over time.

You can play the game without buying anything. I’ve played the game for about a year and a half now, over 1000 games played, and I’ve only spent 10 dollars. 10 dollars for 1000 hours of a fun game is a good for me. They have to make money somehow anyways. It costs money to keep a game like LOL going.

So the new skins for some of the champs suck like Amumu’s and Jax’s. Who makes them?

Skins is the only thing you would want to spend your RP on, and I don’t know what’s the difference between

- Buying a hat in TF2 for real money
- Buying a skin in LoL for real money

You mean you can’t spend real money on unlocking new hero’s?

What makes Riot greedy is that they are selling skins for ridiculous amounts of money and they focus more on releasing champs (designed to make money) over balancing the ones they already have. After all, there is no money in balancing old champions.

It’s easy to get a weapon in TF2, hell you can even craft them.
People literally give out weapons quite often in TF2 because they are worthless unless they are strange or they are made out of hats, yes a weapon made out of hats!

Plus most weapons in TF2 give ups and downs and are purely situational, being shit in one situation and horrifying in another.

In the time you get a weapon in TF2 you get at least one champion in LoL. Characters in LoL give ups and downs that are also situational.

Also TF2’s weapon balance is a joke. Much worse than LoL’s champion (please stop calling them heroes; furthermore, please stop using apostrophes to pluralize) balance, in that in LoL there are few completely unviable champions whereas there’s a ridiculous amount of brokenly underpowered weapons in TF2. Similarly, TF2 has an incredible amount of weapons I term upgrades due to their negligible downside, for instance the Degreaser, the Axtinguisher, the Overdose, and I could go on. In LoL there are few champions that simply outclass the rest.

League of Legends has superior balance, which is why it isn’t a pay-to-win model. TF2 has easy methods of acquiring all weapons, which is why it isn’t a pay-to-win model. Now, if you had to grind for a hundred hours to obtain the Degreaser (or else pay Valve $20) TF2 would be pay-to-win, as you cannot effectively play Pyro without the Degreaser against equally skilled opponents with it.
