nope, now it is true some furs were them to get over social barres of being shy an what not other do it fur the fun there are other reason as well to do it.

I’d say its more like 75%
I know a lot of furries that aren’t dogs, cats, foxes, or wolves.

but, I think most people wold pick something like that cuz well those animals are like furry… there are other furry animals but, those are the furryiest.

I’m guessing because a lot of people love those kinds of animals. I wanted my fursona to be a lioness because I love cats, and I don’t see lion furries very often.

Oh, OK. Most of the furries I’ve seen are wolves, but I don’t know as many furries as you do. I only know the ones on OT and my IRL friend who’s a cat.

Yeah, I would kinda speculate that it isn’t too unreasonable that there is probably an anthro…pretty much every species/critter out there. Probably the majority of them being the usual felines and canines are because:

2. As Rich said, they’re probably what come to mind most frequently when thinking of “furry” critters. Sure, the “Furry” community probably includes goodness-knows-however-many subgroups that may be less “furry,” but I would think that the idea for most fans is that they make a furry character that’s…well…furry!
