It can’t be survival horror if it is co-op
I mean, its not as scary if you have someone there with you.
Also, the type of horror (jump scares, excessive gore) doesn’t work with multiple people being together.
While typing this, I thought of a cooler way for co-op to work.
Isaac is insane. He hallucinates about dead people. These hallucinations are the co-op partners. Now, imagine if the co-op partners would be randomly prompted to kill Isaac. This would make the game better because you wouldn’t trust your co-op partner.
Discuss how I am a better writer than EA

Of course you’re a better writer than them, they’re only humans

Wow, I’m surprised you made a thread that didn’t involve your trademark “0/5 NO CROWS” comment.

Dead Space 3 will suck because Dead Space 1 & 2 sucked.

Then don’t play co-op then. Problem solved.

When you aren’t playing co-op, you still have that LOSER there with you, except he is an AI

Yeah, but it solves the problem of it not being scary when you have another human playing with you.

I love it when games have offline co-op. Resident Evil 5 has really good co-op. Don’t you have any real life friends to play with?
I don’t really mind having an AI partner along in single player, as long as they’re not overly obnoxious/stupid.

Human enemies with guns. Just let that sink in for a moment.
Oh and crouch behind walls based combat.

EA once again provides massive innovation for a stagnant and outdated series

It’s almost as if I’m playing [A new Gears of Big Burly Men game](http://therealmcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/06/123257_800.jpg)

Did you hear him talking during the trailer?
He commented on everything
It was like have Duke Nukem there but without everything that made Duke Nukem a good character

It’s funny because it’s true.

Personally, I don’t think it’d be so bad.
1) No player 2, no partner. This has led some people to consider that maybe John is a figament of Issacs imagination.
2) I remember reading an article about Bioshock 2 where they had, at one point, considered having USSR soldiers that used actual tactics attack you, and thinking, “That would have been cool, why’d they take it out?” Adding Unitologis Fanatics that require you to change your approach, in addition to new types of our favorite alien-zombie-mutants can only add some spice to this franchise.

Also, there is going to be human enemies, and a cover system.

I’ve heard from people who have played the co-op, and they say it’s still scary
Although I’m still sceptical, I think it’s possible that they can pull it off
Don’t diss it till you try it.
