Um, about that…You don’t seem to undertsand the meaning of “emo” and I think you’re just mixing it with any genre that’s not techno, rap, pop, or any of the poser music that plays on the radio. Yes, MCR is emo, Fall Out Boy is pop rock, but can be mistaken for emo, but DRAGONFORCE, is powermetal, with traces of Symphonic metal. Learn your shit please. And no, I am not defending Dragonforce, I’m not a big fan of them either, I’m just trying to get people to understand the music genres right.

I understand Music genres, and to say that dragonforce has traces of symphonic metal is just blasphamy. They play power metal, power metal that sounds as if they listened to too much Iron Maiden growing up.

Every emo kid has a Coheed and Cambria white belt. They’re power metal, I don’t see how being power metal keeps you from becoming shit.

Being shit pretty much tags the word “pop” onto whatever genre you used to play. Pop-punk, Pop-rock, Pop-core……. Pop

dragonforce are not emo they’re kinda elctro metal the almost opposite of emo and fall out boy are hardly very emo you’ve just said the most probably three most played bands that dont wear masks on kerrang a band on kerrang isn’t emo fgs.
