Thoughts about SD

Terrible forum is terrible.

First five threads:
1.Generic Christian-Atheist, Is god real thread?(Anyone who’s been to SD knows that theres atleast 1-3 of those on the first page.)
2.Generic obvious sexist thread
3.Common math thread.
4.Bad roleplaying thread, with an unnecessary Axiom.
5.(And finally) An almost decent, thought provoking thread about education.With repetetive arguments.

But OT always-usually has -creative and interesing threads/characters., even if we have twice as much spam.

Discuss how OT is awesome and SD is terrible.

I always keep a second tab on SD just in case my expertise is needed, but the debates are stressful, even when you know they shouldn’t be. OT is full of random stuff, which can be perverted crap, it can be just stupid, or it can actually be funny or interesting. SD can have interesting discussions though; very thought provoking and stressful but still interesting.

SD is the best forum and you know it.

Not being able to understand it doesn’t make it bad. Some of the threads in there are really interesting and fun to read.

A bunch of bored people with even more time on their hands than bored OTers.

SD is not that bad. It used to be really bad back in 09. It had a mod that weekbanned you for just giving an unpopular opinion.

SDers do have some good discussions. The problem is that they don’t know when to stop and end up dragging on the discussions for too long until it turns into pointless flaming.

If they don’t drag on discussion of a topic for too long, then it’s not that bad.

I read it to page 3.It would be Really interesting for 4-5 post and then people would start arguing. So you brought up a new quote. Good job, I’ll try that sometime.

It’s a pretty good forum to talk about certain not-religous topics, but otherwise, you probably should not stay there for extensive periods of time.

Hah…when I was on MinecraftForums, the Serious Discussion section always had this one person arguing with a bunch of bullshit he found up his ass. Not to mention, this one guy who thought he was a witch…

SD has good threads, bad people. OT has some good threads and some good people.
