Subways in general in that game can get jumpy at first, also Deathclaw Sanctuary.

dead space

The atmosphere was scary, aside from that it was predictable.

Saved for when he gets back here >:D

Vault 11

That one was creepy~

Is FO:NV better than FO3?

In my opinion, NV has more to it and a greater variety of things to do. 3 has a better story but it does get to be a somewhat bland game compared.

Usually areas with vast amounts of deathclaws. I recommend bringing your dog along and ammo. But make sure you fire at them every now and then. Because if your dog attempts to face two of those beasts and you don’t do anything, chances are your dog will die.

I’ve watched a couple friends play Fallout 3. What are those creatures with the shells? They look like they’re part hermit crab, part beetle, and part turtle. I know my friends always started worrying when they saw one of those in the distance!

Mirelurks. there a pain since there armor is very high, and a very small weak point. If you see a King, RUN! They insta cripple your head with some mind blast, and do tremendous damage.

Worse than deathclaws? I imagine the mirelurks would be a scarier part of Fallout if you have to fight a bunch of them.

The very start is scary, turns out the main character’s parents had sex

The start isn’t scary. The intro is quite dramatic though.

Where the mirelurks are… I"d rather fight an army of dethclaws with a switch blade than a single mirelurk…

A friend of mine let me borrow his copy of Fallout 3 a few months ago. At the time, i didn’t really think it was that great, but i gave it back last month, and i have been missing it. I have realized that fallout 3 is probably the best game i have ever played. It’s not that scary though….if you play with no sound.

Why would you play with no sound??

Omg. Is anyone else obsessed with 50s music after playing Fallout? I have all the songs from both 3 and NV at all times.

Sounds like a daily day in the life of Fallout 3. 2 things I hate most are vaults and subways just because there mazes that can kill you easy.

I’ve never understood playing games with no sound. It’s an incomplete experience! My roommate likes to listen to his own music over his games, and I just don’t get that. You lose all the atmosphere and ambient noise if you’re blasting something on top of the game’s sounds.

I just do that when it’s a game like Halo or something. If it’s like Amnesia, it puts half the game to sleep.

I admit I haven’t actually played through any of the Halo games, but I suspect that after the first one, the music is all essentially the game. Those games are more about the mechanics than the environment, but in a beautiful story-driven world like Fallout, I love the sounds.
