Unit 731, In real life, was a biological and chemical warfare research and development unit of the Imperial Japanese Army. But, why would this be in Pokemon?
Luckily, about a few months ago, my brother went to Japan, he brought me back an original copy of Pokemon Green. I thought this was pretty cool, and so I beat it, and then I was randomly training all my pokemon to level 100, when I found this one “Pokemon” Which, when translated to English, it’s name was “Unit 731”
I kept asking myself how this would get by in a KIDS GAME. I took a closer look at it, and, instead of one sprite, it seemed to change sprites, sprites consisting of…

And more pokemon, such as celebi, dialga, palkia, and more, which made me have to think, because this was Pokemon green, WAY before these pokemon.
So, how do you think this happened? Do you think it is a glitch, or much more serious than that?
