What about that part that it wouldn’t be going faster than light?

"the end result being faster-than-light travel"

There you go.

Did I miss a reference? :P

There you go.

It specifies that it wouldn’t technically be going faster than light. You’d just get to your destination quicker than light would. But you’re not “racing” light.

This technology can never exist. The human race is still quite primitive and cannot handle technology of this level. Crime would become so ridiculously easy that enough people would do it to the point that there would be nothing left before long. The ability to make solid objects travel at the speed of light? Imagine the destruction that could be caused when someone inevitably gets their hands on the blueprints for it and abuses it.

Whether or not it is possible doesn’t matter. We can only hope that they do not actually succeed with this.

It’s hard to believe someone can not only get their hands on the blueprints of NASA technology, but have the parts and knowledge to replicate it. That would take a billionaire super villain or a massive crime syndicate. Considering the villains from Batman aren’t real, that’s extremely unlikely.

No, but travelling at light speed or faster means you have to stop at some point..

This is also the reason why humans will never be able to create atomic bombs.

Wait…
