Real or Fake Tree?

At Christmas, does your family get a real or fake tree? If you do not celebrate Christmas, I ask that you please refrain from making negative comments.

We get real trees every year. My dad raises Christmas trees.

In the last 3-4 years we only bought fake ones. But before that, only real trees.

If you do choose to go with an artificial Christmas tree for your holiday celebration, buy one that has been made in America. This will greatly decrease the chances for contamination with lead or other toxins.

We’ve used the same old fake Christmas tree for years now.

We’ve been getting real trees for nearly my whole life, we got a fake one this year though.

Well we don’t celebrate because our family is trash and we can’t gift anything.
So no tree, no lights, nothing.

Probably because Santa Claus has been pretty much detached from Christianity. Nowadays christmas (or x-mas) is more of a commercial holiday above everything else.

I have used the same fake christmas tree for years. and years. AND YEARS.

I hate people who kill trees to celebrate something.

we just got a tree today, it was real and like $50 or $60

We use a fake tree. That way we can reuse the same one every year.

Why would it offend you that somebody else has a religion? You don’t have to follow it but don’t bitch about other people having christmas trees and christmas becomes more about Santa than god because A kid isn’t going to focus on religion but presents and leaving cookies for santa.

Back to the thread: Fake because real ones make a mess.
