Of any sort.

6 song excerpts. Not quite all, but mostly electronic, before you click.
I am also interested in how you think it is mixed, and possibly what it sounds like on desktop speakers, as I live in a world of headphones.
And finally I would like to know if any of the subliminal messages take effect. You will know by your increasing desire to collect pennies from 2002.

Dude it’s on lock no criticism (sorry? :P )
(I also live in a world of headphones so I can’t go into the speakers…)

Great, really interesting compositions. The only thing I would recommend is to EQ the drums a bit. They feel a bit weak and trebly (snares particularly). They need more of distinctive sound. But anyway keep it up!

Listened to a few…not bad, the ones I heard mainly seem like casual background music.

BG or ambient music, yeah, for the most part (minus the tap dance one.)
Unless the music is for some specific intro or scene, if a tune is more ‘busy’ than the gameplay, does it get in the way?
@alexmiller: Do you get someone else to do your mixing/mastering? It is rare that I take anything to a proper studio, and I oftened wondered if that affected overall sound (how I like things to sound vs. the way most people like things to sound.) I appreciate the input.

I don’t get anyone to do my own mixing/mastering. If you’re an electronic musician, you kind of become your own producer, so EQing drums is your job. :) Of course, you should do everything the way you want. But if they were my songs, I’d make the drums a bit punchier.
EDIT: Oh yeah, if you’re interested, you can go to my myspace to hear some of my tracks: http://myspace.com/rabbitandpoemusic

@alexmiller: This Is Not A Pipe is really cool.
Also, if I am selling someone something, I think it is worth it to rent the studio time and the ‘professional ear’ because there is way too much that I don’t know about the merger of audio/video, even if it is just some training video or something.
Plus, I haven’t seen a specialist yet, but I think me left ear has become weaker than the right. :/ (Should of headed those concert warnings…)
So are you guys listening through desktop speakers, home stereos, studio monitors, radio-shack-earbuds? Inquiring minds need to know.

I listen through studio monitors, usually. Unfortunately right now all I have is studio headphones.

I was listening through carpy desktop speakers, and it sounded awesome. At least the one track I listened to the whole thing.

Hey, one track? Great. :P Couldn’t spare the extra 1:20? :)
At least some of it sounds normal on desktop speakers. (Even the ‘carpy’ ones. <snicker> )
Argh! Anyone else NOT wearing potentially expensive headphones?
