“Yes, I made this because I legimatly wonder just how much people care about grammar- my grammar begin one of those, because the complaints about it are getting a bit annoying, it was fun the first time guys but seriously, dont you get bored doing this over and over and over again? kthxbye—-”

This thread is about… well, read the title.

EDIT: Also why in this forums there aint any sigs? i could as well put one where it states that english is not my lenguage and thus could save everyone some time that is NOT wasted about making fun of some random gramatical error of mine and instead be used in your life to view some videos in Youtube, play computer games or fap to soft porn.

I’m pretty laid-back on grammar since my grammar is pretty bad anyway. The only thing I’m a bit irritated about is incorrect use of “than” and “then”.

Well, if you say so…

I dont think my idea was going to help me that much anyway.

If I cant understand what their saying, then it pisses me off

I think syntax is a more important issue than grammar since it has a greater ability to hinder communication. Grammar is a minor annoyance to me while broken phrase structure is a bigger concern, especially when sentences can be interpreted in various contradictory ways. Even if the sentence is one-sided, having to slowly re-read it is troublesome.

I’m bad at correctly using commas. Other than that my grammar is fine.

My grammar is almost perfect, the only thing I’m bad with is using “there” instead of “their” or “they’re” and “your” instead of “you’re”.
I can’t stand people like Rolby who are like: “cuz lol stfu i no”.

I tend to correct people with bad grammar, but i don’t get angry at them or anything.

I don’t care as long as they don’t use text speak.

I dont care about it.

yea i only correct people if theyre trying to do good grammar. i mean if they use capitals and puncuation etc. but still use bad grammar, then i correct them. otherwise i dont.

It pisses me off to a small degree, but I do not show my annoyance. I just tolerate it.

signatures and grammer are something totally different:

Signatures can also be images on most forums, which is something I would want to have here on kong, if they decide to allow us to have these signatures. However, they horribly take out the fun of reading the story that is on a page. You will have to scroll past the same image every 5 posts. But on the other side, they are also fun to have, to show of your own creativity.

My grammar is pretty good, as I have gotten compliments about it. I don’t really bother about other’s grammar, unless I feel like trolling or if they are annoying me.

Exactly this.

As long as every single word they type isn’t shortened or illegible, then I’m fine. I’ve seen some people spell “all right” as “alryte”. That’s what annoys me.

The problem is that you shouldn’t be trying, proper spelling and syntax should be natural to you. Purposefully typing improperly halves my WPM since I’m not used to it, so I don’t see why anyone would think it’s more convenient.
