I haven’t been on in awhile and today I learned that a friend has been banned, that friend is DarthNader.

DarthNader was known for being a rebel that did what he pleased and didn’t care what others thought about him. One time he was silenced for repeatedly saying OM NOM NOM to piss off a mod. But now they have gone too far; they have taken him away for good, so i encourage all that knew him to keep his spirit alive.

DarthNader wherever you are, Keep Rockin

Doesn’t sound too cool a guy if he purposely pissed off mods and permabanned him.

There is a difference between being a rebel and acting like a jerk in the forums. DarthNader refused to heed to very polite warnings by some of our nicest mods and admins, thus he was permabanned.

So what is the difference between disobeying authority and being a rebel?

Being a rebel (or at least a good one) you have a cause.

He had a cause: he felt he had to do it

The only difference is whether or not you have people with you, DarthNader was a troll through and through. I’m sure that everyone had a chuckle at a few of his posts, but he was by no means a rebel, for that he would of actually have to have a cause.

idk, his mind was an enigma

I cannot recall him ever expressing his mind…

DarthNader had no respect for anyone but himself. Being a jerk towards others that weren’t in authority is what got him in the most trouble; not because of making mods mad as a supposed over-glorified “rebel”.

saying OM NOM NOM to piss off a mod

I doubt that.

He had a cause: he felt he had to do it

And he violated the terms he agreed to when he signed up. When you do that, you jeopardize your account. It’s all very simple and logical. We gave him plenty of chances too, when we had plenty of room to just ‘do what we felt’.

In the future, don’t make threads about permabanned users, especially if you are going to glorify them.
