What operating system are you using, just wondering.
I am currently using Ubuntu 12.04, but I might switch back to Linux Mint.

I’m currently using OS X Mavericks. I’m not a computer buff so I dunno if it’s really all that great, but it works for me.

Preatty generic, but still works.

Not too framillior with the MAC OS, but Mavericks sounds preatty generic, but looks slick.

The main laptop I use for browsing and most things is OS X Mavericks which brings me to this:

You’re going to want to update Mavericks immediately if you haven’t done so yet. I do vaguely remember you saying you used Safari which is one of the apps that were vulnerable (with other apps).

I have a few live cd’s otherwise that I use mostly for testing things on. I also use VMWare.

Exactly why you’re commenting back on other user’s choices or OS’s doesn’t quite make sense to me. I do hope you realize that every OS has its benefits, flaws, security issues, etc. Above all, doing the: “I use Linux so I’m better than everyone else,” type of arguments also makes you look a bit silly. Unless you’re able to tell me how to defend yourself against kernel attacks, know core commands, and other various parts of other OS’s, don’t go around judging other user’s choices.

I am using Windows 8 because it came with my laptop but, I hate it. On the desktop I installed Windows 7 Professional, much better.
