Guitars

I am dedicating this thread to discusion about your favorite guitars because I have noticed that a substantial ammount of users here on kongregate play/like guitars. Bass guitars and acoustics (grandpa guitars :P) are welcome too. I wan’t to keep this simple if possible. Try not to throw in too much uber L33T guitar talk. I don’t want to confuse any of the guitar n00bs that may come in and wonder what a EMG-81/85 active humbucker is.

I will start us off with this… What is your favorite overall guitar look?

Examples: Les Paul, Stratocaster, Razorback, PRS, Ect…

I myself prefer the SG look, I own an Epiphone SG in full black and an ESP Viper in full white myself (the Viper is the SG that is warped to the side alittle) I also like the way the V and the Explorer look. Not those half assed looking randy rhodes V’s. I don’t much like the Firebird either, Explorer looks much less wimpy.

Also on basses. My friends/bassist plays a Tobias and I think it is one of the sexiest looking basses around.

I’m partial to the Fender Jaguar’s body.

I like the SG style as well. I’ve had mine for a few years, but I think I may get a Les Paul soon. Need something that plays a nice clean tone.

I definitely have to go with the les paul look. But I just want an acoustic to play with, maybe one that has an output port in it so if I wanted to I could stick all sortsa random pedals on it in the future and play.

Well, I’ve got a guitar (That I really need to start learning how to use), and it’s one of a million Stratocaster copies. Still, it works.

I love Gibson Flying V’s their just cool. Not to mention you get the awsome goth metal ones and they look amazing.

I love the look of Telecasters. Of course, the Les Paul also looks awesome.

Yeah, it looks awesome, but it´s hard to play and it´s uncomfortable.

I love IBanez guitars, especially the S And RG models. Chances are I will only ever own guitars manufactured by Ibanez.

I don’t play guitar (I plan on learning soon though) but some guitars that look pretty sweet and seem to play well are:

Gibson SG
Gibson Les Paul
Jackson Rhoads Flying V
BC Rich Warlock
BC Rich Kerry King V
Any Hamer guitar.

I myself own a Cort KX5
I like the simple look of it and (for a Cort) it’s of pretty high quality.
