I was going to create an April Fools thread, but I’ll just piggy back on this one. Google was gonna be on my list, but I’ll go ahead and put my other favorites up. I really enjoyed [Blizzard’s TaurenMarine](http://www.starcraft2.com/features/terran/taurenmarine.xml) for StarCraft 2 (thanks Blarlack!), and [ThinkGeek’s USB Pregnancy Test](http://www.thinkgeek.com/edm/20080401.shtml) (among others on this page), but I think the absolute winner has to be [IGN.com’s Legend of Zelda Movie Trailer](http://movies.ign.com/articles/863/863492p1.html). Really this would have been a ho-hum story, the kicker is that they have a full-length, live-action trailer to show off the new movie! I can’t imagine this cost less than six figures to make with all of the actors, special effects, sets, costumes, and make-up. Very impressive! This has to be one of the more elaborate April Fools jokes I’ve seen.
[Gmail custom time feature](http://mail.google.com/mail/help/customtime/index.html)
Check it out.. I actually thought it was real at first, because I think it is possible to modify the “time sent” in e-mail headers.. Quite often I’ve noticed spam in my Yahoo e-mail account being dated out of place (example: receive an e-mail that was just sent seconds ago, and somehow it appears “older” in the chronological listing.. I think I’ve even seen some e-mails dated at least a day into the future).
Yeah, it’s confirmed: there’s no LoZ movie. Plus, as soon as I saw it, I checked out IMDB, and with no official mention of it, despite that much filming and post-production, it’s clear that it’s fake.
