tablet stylus help please!

it’s like my third stylus so far..and everytime the same problem.
When the tip touches or hovers above the tablet it just keeps clicking like you’re holding the left click constantly! why is it happening?
can anyone tell me?
I am losing so many styluses that way..

It might help to know what kind of tablet you’re using. Or it could just be a setting in the program.

I have a Genius i608x
i tried changing the tip, the settings, the batteries, upgrading the software, and tried it on another laptop..same problem
why are all my styluses ending up with the same problem is beyond me _

You mean like when you’re highlighting text, that type of holding left click? Shouldn’t it be like that? I mean, when you’re drawing in a program, you’re holding the left click to draw.

yes it’s like holding the click forver and as soon as I hover the stylus on top of the tablet it clicks…
well when i hover it above it it shoouldn’t click..only when i touch the tablet with the tip then it’ll click..
mine is just holding the click on hover!
