Consoles have bad graphics because consoles have awful hardware. Consoles literally cannot run anything with good graphics, at least by PC standards.

You probably misunderstood me. What I mean to say isn’t that consoles are incapable of good graphics. What I mean to say is that consoles literally cannot have as good of graphics as a PC because they are so outdated.

higher quality graphics means it looks better which means it has better graphics. its a fact that pc games have better graphics. there is a reason crysis looks like absolute garbage on consoles

really, the PC community can have its own game awards show
IMO its cool that the consoles can do what they are doing for what you are paying for them
PC graphics should look a whole lot better because you have to dump thousands of moneys into these things in order to get the best out of them.

really, comparing Console graphics with good PC graphics is like comparing a commercial plane with the Scram Jet.

Consoles this generation were a disaster. Technical failures and massive lagging in games, this shit rarely happened last generation.

you are thinking of art style, light. when someone says graphics they are usually referring to the settings and things a game is capable of rendering.

i.e. dynamic lighting, anti aliasing, high quality textures, shading, shadows etc

A console is incapable of supporting the things a PC can support, and as such is inferior graphically. I guess the awards show might’ve been using graphics as art style, which wouldn’t be surprising, because it is actually used quite a bit and still correctly. Even in that case, I cannot think of a single console game that would look better than the best PC game.
