It’s an interesting game and to those who played the Facebook application Nations, it’s also the same thing except with more features.

The Game:

You basically make your own nation and choose how you rule it. I rule it by corrupt dictatorship although I consider myself very liberal. Once you written the usual username and password stuff, you get to choose issues that will set the tone of your nation. Everyday, you get to see an issue and you can choose a side. For example, if they are talking about banning shoelaces, you can choose to ban it or not (I’ll choose to ban shoelaces, it’s annoying :(). It will be done in overnight and you do it again. Pretty addictive game, I say. It has a slow pacing, you should play it for a week and by that time, you’ll get addicted to it.

The Kongregation of the Game:

I made a region which you can join. It’s the one that says Northern Pacific. You can quit it and join my region which is named Kongregate. Search for it and join it.

EDIT: There’s a group called Newgrounds. It sorta feels similar to me but we have to beat it, capishe?

EDIT EDIT: Decided to take out password so everybody can join our region and our region also beaten Newgrounds.

Also I’m going to go down the route of having basically no laws at all and see how that turns out.

No laws is exactly the wrong way to go… encouraging civil revolt all the way ;)

The Empire of Smigbob

EDIT: My description:

The Empire of Smigbob is a tiny, economically powerful nation, renowned for its absence of drug laws. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical population of 5 million are ruled with an iron fist by the corrupt, dictatorship government, which oppresses anyone who isn’t on the board of a Fortune 500 company. Large corporations tend to be above the law, and use their financial clout to gain ever-increasing government benefits at the expense of the poor and unemployed.

There is no government in the normal sense of the word; however, a small group of community-minded, corrupt, pro-business individuals devotes most of its attentions to Law & Order, with areas such as Social Welfare and Religion & Spirituality receiving almost no funds by comparison. Income tax is unheard of. A robust private sector is led by the Uranium Mining, Gambling, and Furniture Restoration industries.

Crime is a serious problem. Smigbob’s national animal is the bob, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the smig.

NOTE: I didn’t write this, it just turned out beautifully…
