That sounds great. There are definitely a lot of players who would benefit from a system like that. Players would like to see Regional Market improved in many ways, and offering a system of barters would be a helpful addition.

Sounds ridiculously complex given how little market activity there really is.

since you are reducing travel times anyways, open up the possibility of cross region marketplaces. IE a player without stonegating sees the auctions in his area only. with stonegating you see the continental sales. would go a long way towards allowing the markets to find supply and demand limits, instead of having some zones with lots of trade and some with completely dead markets.

Would make hunting newbies easier too: that is what the marketplace is for, right? Identifying tasty targets? Might as well tell ALL of us who’s got too much of what. I approve Holykannibals ideas!

As far as “time until unhappy goes” it would make more sense if 25 hours = 1 day rather than 2. You’d have to warn people if you changed it, but the current way is misleading.

Holykannibal, the biggest reason we don’t do that, is because we want Regions to individually set their economy. Also, if you find a Region that is paying high prices, you could potentially start shipping in your Resources. It is possible, that the team could reconsider this.

Mebdach, we changed some of our times to be purely in hours so it was more clear. I think 24 hours will consistently be a day, but perhaps the team may show all times in hours, rather than days, up until a certain point.
