I’d suggest using alts for this, since a maxed ult tech is a very large advantage.

Not everyone has alts or willing to use alts plus you have to take into account new alts doesn’t have bps to take advantage of the rules of using up to i30 bps and etc. Everyone has time still to level up their end techs if so be it.

Its not difficult at all to transfer ships to an alt, and the last two levels of end tech on all trees give a huge advantage that only a very few players can afford. This will be won by the top players as usual…

You should already know that there are some who may report alts.

I do, I also know that I’ve reported alts that are literally the same name with a number on the end, with screenshotted proof of the main saying it was an alt. They did nothing about it. I’ve also reported my own alt to them once(since it was named stupid) and they said I could keep it so long as it does not give res to the main. Lastly, they never ban mains, only alts, so there is literally no downside to this solution to lopsided tech.

Dracon, what a brilliant idea. There is indeed literally no downside to this solution. I will leave it to you to verify that the alts don’t have tech.

I think that tech should be allowed; What happens to the players who had focused all thier gold on tech in order to compensate for bad hulls/weapons? Tech can be used for strategy as well; missile glass for knockback combined with Dir. tanks to make a permaslowed enemy fleet that would never reach your glass; tech allows for much a much wider range of strategies, IMO, thus, should be permitted.

*Note: I’m F2P, and I don’t have all the techs, but I still think it should be allowed.

Hard choice about tech (Wep/Def) is that it will be up to the owner to play by the rules, Because it’s easy to transfer funds to the account to upgrade techs that wouldn’t be notice.

Lol, well I figured that being the minimum level needed to make a AH to transfer ships would be proof enough. even the penultimate tech should raise the level by a fair bit.

Solon why u dont ask from igg to help on this..

I mean .. even after the cc-link some1 can entry bionic chip fast so he get advantage over some1 .. ask igg to open arena-spectetor with the ability to see the commander stats .. this way u win to check faster and easier the commanders .. who win .. if they are play by the book etc…

At least due to arena-event .. it will be like raids but with an extra ability to check the commanders .

just make them show the comms while the fight has started, since they cant change the chips and gems then.

same thing .. my point is that igg CAN help solon and MM to make a nice event for us … so the que is have the willing to do it.. ?

Event is coming up to fast for igg to implement any new rool.

i think 1 weak is plenty of time … if will exist the rest is easy..

It’s not in this game and developing the feature just for a kong user hosted event will be using the time of the developers (Which is $) which could have gone into more important features. Plus igg team is already spread into all their games on kong being Galaxy Online, Dawn of Darkness, Wings of Destiny and Texas HoldEm Poker Deluxe. It’s a nice idea which would improve Arena battles but I don’t see it coming right now just for this event.

As noted in the rules, the commanders need to be linked during the arena
