Since I normaly pick the stronger, more bulky characters for games, I went for the Arctic Soldier class when I first started, but a lot of people have been saying that the Arctic Soldier is probably one of the worst choices due to very low speed and lack of decent skills. I kind of see the point they’re making, the Scout has pretty high attack and has the best speed stat out of all the characters. And I see some characters of half my level getting in 5 attacks to my 2-3.
I also read the wiki page on character comparing and their stats at each level, it seems that the Arctic Soldier has the highest attack untill around level 50-60 and I was thinking that taking in the speed and attack to consideration that the Scout would be better all round, the defence isn’t much to look at, but the hp is fairly sufficient.
What I want to know is, what are your opinions on a choice to change to a Scout class and use him instead, or weather I should keep using the Arctic Soldier.
Thanks for your time.

personly i think the scout looks the coolist, but sux cuz it hits weyy less than the other ppl. im using an arctic soldier and im hittin 2k at lv 80ish, so i think hes worth it, the high hp is nice as well
the downsides r that there is no healing spells, and his att timer is relly slow, ither than that i thik its a great class
but in the end its all about ur style of play

I’d lose the Arctic Soldier, and change to Shaman or Snow Bandit.

Best Choices
Scout
Arctic Soldier
Savage
Snow Bandit
Desert Bandit
Medicine Man
Sun Witch
Shaman (Best Choice)
Hypnotist
I wonder why people bother to even use The Charmer…

Miss read that, thought they were doing 5 to your 1. Was 5 vs 3.
I like pathfinder. I don’t know why people think it’s weak. Same attack and rate as the snow/desert bandits/Savage and better healing skills (earlier too). The high skill and speed give it some crazy resist/block ability and it can boost its own already swift attack rate.
I’ve seen a very amazing Clairvoyant too. Astral Travel 3 is insanely fast. Very nice for boss battles.
I’m still trying to find a good reason to play Clown. The ‘poison heal’ effect is actually a display glitch. In the poison before it, it dealt that damage. In actuallity, it just did normal damage as ever. Thing is, monsters don’t swing very fast and the poison doesn’t last long enough to account for the SP cost for the low damage. Of course, I’ve only seen poisonbomb 1 and 2. Hope 3 and 4 are worth the trouble.

My God, you are right. After seeing that spell in action, it has become my favorite. Talk about the Clairvoyant being the perfect accomplice.

scout has fastest speed, sb has aoe, artic has strongest att/hp (if artic has company, he hit strongest)
if you use scout, you’ll be very useful doing arena or fighting high hp monster.
if you use sb, you’ll be very useful for grinding bc of it’s aoe.
if you use artic, you’ll be very useful doing arena or fighting high hp monster with company.

evergreen soldier is close to arctic on health and not far behind in attack, its down side is low res but its timer is quite faster than arctic.
Shaman has best AoE in game.
And theres the scout which you mentioned.
So the best 3 class season by far [ignore useless charmer] is spring
