Paladin- Decent damage, aoe and single-target, can tank, can heal. High def
Rogue- High dps, best at single target, can stun, break armor, stealth. Low def
Mage- High ranged dps, concentrate on strong aoe’s, can freeze, poison, summon.
Level and Attributes:
You can view your lvl and exp at bottom left corner (mouse over the bar).
Stregth – increase melee dmg, affect rogue’s and pally’s skills
Magic – increase range dmg, affect mage’s skills and healling skills
Health – everyone gains health each lvl up, can boost it at trainers or socket gems
Defense – affect the dmg you receive
Items, mounts and pets
All items can be found in their corresponding zone.
Items/equipments are dropped from elite mobs, mini bosses, and bosses (the bigger the mob, the higher chance of drop, literally).
All items scale to your lvl, so they are not better or worse, BUT they are all supposedly different in look and power. Customize your stats and skills based on items equipped
Rare and legendary versions of each item give better stats and bonuses, they also have different colors.
Rare can be found similar to normal, at a lower droprate.
Legendary can only be found in dread mode (hardcore world), 1st access through a portal in fellbridge
Pets and mounts can only be bought with Elephant Idol (real money). They’re in the cashshop, at least for now. The dev did mention we may obtain pets and mounts in the future through achievements, events, or large amount of gold, it’s still undecided.
Mining, Crafting (and enhancing)
You can set up your miners periodically at your home (top left button)
Miners give you dragonores, which will be very important for many purposes
You can craft gems at the forge inside your house
Put different materials into forge for the gem you desire (click ? at the forge for ingame instructions)
Enhancing is not available atm. They might be adding it in the near future.
Crafting and enhancing cost dragon ores.
You can create your own guild, or join another one. Guild feature is very helpful for questions and partying. Not a complex system, but they will develop more into it. Here are available commands:
/guildinvite or /ginvite <name>
/guildquit or /gquit
/guildleader or /gleader <name>
/g for normal chat /o for officer chat
Note: some commands are only available for certain Ranks.
- gives you more exp, and gold (no sharing)
- mobs’ health scale up to number of ppl in a party
- you can wait for invite or automatically join your friends’ party.
- you can lock your party to avoid random joining
One note to add to the Party section is that (as of now) only one party member can open a treasure chest; there’s no sharing. I believe Tyveris said that it would be fixed, but for now it’s an annoyance you might want to mention.
Yeah it’s pretty common knowledge to do round-robin.. but there is always someone being a hog.
