I seem to always have a surplus of metal and never any wood. I was thinking there should be a alchemy building or something you can build where you can covert metal to wood and wood to metal. It would also be nice if you could re-use old bakery items by converting them into something level appropriate. For example, I have an overstock of pretzels, which are only good for up to level 18, then you need bread/loaf. If there was an alchemy shop it would be good if I could convert 3 pretzels (or whatever) into the next tier, say loaf or whatever.

Just a thought.

I know the feeling. I’m maxed out at 484k metal and I can’t really spend it on much without spending more wood than metal. Maxed on metal and only have 300k wood. My metal production is 3.5/minute/mine (level 7) and my wood is 4/minute/mine (level 6).

Just keep playing and enjoy the metal while you have it. Once you get to higher levels it seems to flip when metal comes in more slowly (especially once you have your mines and lumber mills maxed out).

If you’re short on wood, see the threads in the Message board on farming wood from different locations (Highland Falls, Floor 3, Room 1) with at least a lvl 18 adventurer with sneak costume, ricochet, and double resources set seems to pull in about 10k wood every ten minutes. You’ll spend some on food, but will more than make it back in resource drops.

I think that in the bestiary should appear the special habilities of the beaten enemies…
for example the Gearhead´s fancy flurry, the thumper´s rage and the elemental enemies elemental attacks

I think that you should be able to sell items you have and don’t use to get other stuff like wood bundles and or metal bundles or paramins or costumes just a thought and you should make another store or add a section to the store that sells stuff for wood and metal to buy something I also think that why not make this game multiplayer and make an arena somewhere in the explore map to let players vs among themselves to see who’s the best and whoever wins should get some sort of prize but make sure to make it online and offline for those who don’t want to vs against others but vs against computers. Another idea would be that why not make more areas instead of just the grinnfinite dungeon where you could train yourself because when people finish the tower they are going to want more places to explorer (know what I’m saying) and why not make more quests so that we don’t run out of them because if there are more quests than that means that you get stuff to help you along and the more stuff that you get to help you along the more we advance!!!!

For selling items, there’s the fuzzlehorn. But I do agree, something else that does not require pramins would be nice, even if it won’t happen.

For multiplayer, I’ve heard that there are some issues due to the cycle based combat system. I don’t know how it works, so if someone could explain why that might cause issues, that’d be appreciated. And for adding it in at all, I actually do think it’d be cool, but it should be optional. No attacking other players who don’t say it’s okay, nothing like that.

More areas and more quests (or a better daily quest system), yes, wholehearted support.

Hey why don’t you guys make an in-game daily giveaway because the dumb daily quest aint helping me out for any reason because all you get is metal bundles, wood bundles, potions etc..EXCEPT for weapons,hats,costumes,and all the other good stuff that’s why you guys should do a daily giveaway like they do for Marvel Heroes Alliance by making people pick.

Hey this is just another thought BBBBBBBBBBBBUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUTTTTTTTTT it would be REALLY great if there was a co-op mode where if you’re stuck a person could come and help you out like an ally or something and maybe you can maybe let people visit other people’s town to help out and if you are going with my idea why not make a common area where people can go and chat like Club Penguin and maybe if you are STILL going with my idea you should probably enable trade but you know these are just ideas

Hey I just thought about this one but instead of making a pretzel or muffin or whatever the same with the potions why not be able to click what you want and how much you want so that you don’t have to keep going back and forth, to and fro, left to right, up and down, north to south (well I think you guys get the point) and you just have to multiply or add (whicher one suits you) the number of items and the normal seconds together to get your final time (So you SEE doesn’t that save a butt load of time?).

Hey guys (yeah its me again) why not make prizes that go with achievements because what’s the point of achievements if you don’t get anything because then it’s just POINTLESS so why not make prizes that fit that type of achievement.

I’ve seen this suggested, it’s even on the best rated comments, but i tougth it would be good to introduce its discussion here:
‘Happiness’ needs to improve something in the game. After having a certain low number of hapiness, you unlock all the decorations and it doesnt do anything else anymore.
I like the proposal of increasing the ‘action points’ (AP) effect. I do think that the ammount suggested in the comments it’s way too much. I talk against myself. If it was a percentual improvement, me, with my 800 happiness, would have each action point doing a 18mins result…

My proposal is:
Until 250 happiness, each 5 improves 1 second on an AP (at 250 happiness, that results in 2:50 each AP)
Until 500 happiness, each 10 improves 1 second on an AP (at 500 happiness, that results in 3:15 each AP)
Until 1000 happiness, each 20 improves 1 second on an AP (at 1000 happiness, that results in 3:40 each AP)/(at 800 happiness, that results in 3:30 each AP)
Over 1000 happiness, i dont know. Maybe keep 1sec each 20happiness.

Obviously, i would like bigger values, but…. at least i hope for this :)
I think this would make more people buy pramins, since to go over 850 happiness i believe it’s needed to buy pramin decorations.

Also, i would like that some decorations would have bigger limits. To keep the happiness balance, maybe make them not increase happiness when used over the actual ammount. I’m talking for example about ‘cobblestone path’, ‘stone patch’ and a little more in fences too.
I understand why the limitation on the flowers…

Not that i’m really into decorating, i’m just thinking it would improve the game to many, from what i’ve ‘heard’ (read) in chat, forum, comments…

Agreed. Maybe, if the multiplayer option is too difficult to programme due to the cycle based combat, an alternative is to have player created quests of sorts; something like a job board. For example, User1 posts to the Job Board “Prospector needed to collect gems.” And this job would only be open to prospector classes/equipped characters and act as a mini-game. But then again I don’t know how well that would work out if the cycle based combat is the problem.

Sorry mate, wasn’t meant to be a personal attack or anything. I think it sounded more diplomatic from my end than it actually came out. I just saw this animation recently and guess I have been itching to share it as it gave me a good laugh. If anything it represents ME in real life! :D

As I said in that same post however, I think it’s good that you make suggestions, and I agree with some of them. You should just be aware that the way you presented them is what we generally call “spamming the forum.” Keep your suggestions to one post at a time, think them through and make them brief and clear. Multi posting can often get your posts deleted by mods.

…And no, I get the feeling that the devs don’t read this page at all. I think that most of the feedback that they concern themselves with is either in the comments below the game, or else on the facebook forums.

What if the Fuzzlehorn had the ability to take a few unrefined scrapper vests (eg) and refine them? It could be a few unrefined items to go into one refined item. This would combat the annoying grind to get all refined items at high tiers and would also make use of the 20 or so unrefined items that stack up at low tiers

I very much keep an eye on this forum. However, I am less likely to respond on this forum since it is generally active when I am not around like weekends and at night.
That being said, there are some great suggestions here and in other threads. I strongly urge that you guys also post to the Official Grinn Forums (http://thegrinnstale.com/forum/index.php). I am just one guy in a team of many. The more places you post, the more likely a suggestion will be seen by more people. Plus, I can’t look at every post on every forum so, again, the more places you post and all that.
Keep them suggestions coming!

I kinda figured it was something like that. It’s good just to see the occasional post like this one that lets us know that you are in fact there. I think that most of the Kong users prefer to post in the Kong forums than have to trek to other sites, so you may not see many over there. That being said, I’m sure there will be many using both :)
