Chapter 103

“Teachers! Thank god you are finally here. Someone killed Flame!” The teachers jump down from the spectator area and appear next to Flame in a heart-beat, surprising Max and Sarah because to them it looked like the teachers teleported, whose eyesight isn’t as good as yours, though you barely even saw it. Flame was weak compared to them! “Who did this?” The teachers by Flame demand, to which Sarah replies, “I don’t know (begins crying), I wanted to show Max and Henry something I had been working on, and, and we saw Flame lying here, so we ran to him and tried to heal him, but by then it was too late (falls onto knees while crying uncontrollably).” The teacher’s instantly lose their aggressive demeanor towards you, and one of them goes to comfort Sarah while the other two inspect Flame’s body. Max offers to walk her home, and the teacher says that it would be best if both you and Max were to take her home. You and Max both help her up, and she slowly walks forward with both of you next to her, still sobbing slightly. You leave the arena through one of the main entrances, which are large tunnels which each lead to a different part of the school. You round a corner in the tunnel, finally getting out of sight from the teachers and hear-shot. “Do you know where we are going?” you ask Max, who is leading. “No idea, I just thought it was best if we got out of there as soon as possible, and Henry, I am with you no matter what.” Max smiles to you as he says the last part, and you are about to say thank you, when you hear a loud yell from behind you, “This knife belonged to that boy. They did it!” As soon as you all hear those words, you break out into a sprint, but you know there is no way you guys can out run, so you quickly think up an idea. You simply yell, “JUMP!” and summon a huge shadow portal leading to your room in Chaos head-courters. You see Max and Sarah jump in and disappear into the portal, and you dive into the portal, blacking out in mid-air above your bed in your room, completely exhausted from the events today.

Damn, Phoenix Wright ain’t got shartz on these teachers! In all seriousness, Max’s loyalty is pretty awesome. When I read you fell into the bed, I thought you meant back at the school these guys were at lawl. Damn, now we gotta explain Choas Head-Courters to these 2 :O…

We don’t know (because i was too lazy to think of a way), but i just thought up something, and i will put it in the next few chapters.

Chapter 104

You wake up in your bed, and yawn as you slowly roll out of bed. You stand up, and are about to grab a shirt off the bed stand when all the events of earlier that day, or yesterday(?), or the day before yesterday(?) come back to you, and you spin around and see Max and Sarah staring at you. You begin to feel a little uncomfortable due to their intense stare, but when they notice you are look at them they stop immediately. You look down at your chest, which is where they were staring, and once again notice all the scars. You quickly put on the shirt, and ask, “how long was I out?” “Two hours, it is 17 o’ clock, so school is just getting out now.” Wait, didn’t Sahti want to see me after school today, or was that yesterday? Damn it! I can barely remember some of the stuff before I apparently went to Hell. “Hey, Max, when did that incident with Sarah and Andrew happen?” “Yesterday. Why?” You get this churning in your gut, practically screaming at you to go see Sahti. “We are going to go pay a little visit to Professor Sahti.”

You, Max, and Sarah silently creep through the main entrance to the school, though now it is empty and dark, due to the lights being turned off, and the setting sun not providing much light through the windows. “This place is so scary when no-one is here.” Sarah says, shivering in fear a little bit. “Hey, by the way, back there in the arena, how did you learn to act like that!?” you whisper. Sarah is about to respond, when you hear footsteps coming from around one of the corners, but you can’t tell which. You grab Max and Sarah, shove them into the wall with you pushing up behind them, and Shadows envelope you guys. You turn your head slowly, and recognize one of the teachers from the arena. “They knew we would be coming back! Henry, this is a trap, let’s get out of here while we still can.” Max whispers, but you shake your head and wait until the teacher is out of sight in another hall-way. You are about to release the shadows, when you realize that you can’t hear his footsteps anymore. The teacher appears back around the corner, sprinting towards the entrance, with his hand to his hear, saying, “Yes, I understand, we will stop them before they reach him. We won’t fail you, Master.” As he passes, you feel time slow down around you, just like when you were fighting Andrew in the alley. You look at the man sprinting past you, and catch a glimpse of a tattoo on his neck, and something in his ear, both which look familiar. What is going on?! You think. You know there is something big going on, but you can’t figure out what. Time speeds back up to its normal rate, and you look at Max and Sarah. “Did either of you guys see what just happened?” “Yeah? That teacher sprinted past us, and before that he was talking to some “Master”.” You only become more and more frustrated with the events so far, but you continue down the hall way, now at a full sprint. Max and Sarah struggle to keep up with you, so you slow down slightly, and you hear Max ask, “Henry (huff) do you know where you are going.” You turn left and sprint down the next hall-way, taking the second right into yet another unfamiliar hallway. “No, but I know this is the right way.” Left your gut tells you, and you turn left and burst into a classroom. You see Sahti sitting in the main desk, and you charge up to him, though you notice that Max and Sarah are gone, even though they were right behind you a second ago. “I’M HERE, NOW TELL ME WHAT’S GOING ON!” You demand, and Sahti says, “Impressive, few people would have begun to pick up on the connection between all the events going on. What was your first hint that something was amiss?” “I don’t know, I just ‘knew’. My instincts told me something was wrong, and to come find you.” Sahti smiles at your answer, as if hoping you would say just that. “I’m glad you said that. It means you are ready.” “READY FOR WHAT!? HOW DO I KNOW I CAN EVEN TRUST YOU!?” Sahti stands up, reaches into his shirt, and he pulls out a necklace with something at the end of it. You look closely at it, before you realize what it, THE DRAGON EMBLEM!

Chapter 104

The scene where they visit the school, saw the teacher, heard footsteps and cloak themselves sounds to me like the scene from Harry Potter. :D

Now to look up what the dragon emblem does again. :P

Woah, Sahti had the dragon emblem! This is probably gonna be a 1v1 on trying to get the emblem back while Max and Sarah were caught by a teacher.

EDIT: After realizing what the Dragon Emblem means, I’m not gonna spoil it, but we can be in for a suprise.

I wonder who that person with the slow-time was. Andrew revived..?

Oooh I see but that chapter is only when you get it. Took me a while to find where we lost it. Did Andrew die? I thought he was just knocked out. Well if it is him I like the evil side even more. People named Andrew are awesome.

Note: There is more than one Dragon Emblem, there isn’t just ONE dragon emblem, it is a necklace type thing that has an emblem on the end with a dragon on it. And Doc I am not sure if you really know what the emblem means, but if you guessed right, good for you, because as we know in the story, the Emblem was given to Henry by a group of travelers on his way to Welfdrid, but they then turned out to be knights of the Order, according to Alice, and they stopped Henry from killing Emma.

Even slave-traders named Andrew? And where is all this talk of Andrew coming from? and he was only knocked out, he never died.

Also, i have the next chapter finished, now i am just waiting for Qazzaq to comment, then i will post the next chapter.

About the time slowing down, we don’t know why time slowed down or who caused it to slow down (all will be revealed in the end of this Arc, which happens to be the next few chapters).

Chapter 105

“Hello Henry.” An eerily familiar voice says from behind you, and you spin around. “ALEX!?” You see the same Dragon Emblem hanging from his neck as well, and are about to grab your sword when he raises his hands, “Relax, I am not here to hurt you, none of us are.” As soon as he says this, all the travelers from the road to Welfdrid walk into the room, “But…but I thought I killed you all?” you say, shocked at the sight of the travelers, who you remember came with Alex to stop you from killing Emma, and you also recall stabbing one of the ‘white knights’ from back then with a sword, and incinerating the rest with a fireball. “Did you ever see any of us die, or did we just disappear when you tried to roast us which made you think that you actually had killed us?” The traveler who gave you the Dragon Emblem says, but you realize that he is laughing as he says this. “So, what’s going on? Alex, I remember you being sad when I tried to kill Emma and that’s why you all tried to kill me?” As you say this last part, you pull out your sword and back up. “Did we ever try to kill YOU? No, out target was to kill Alice and save the two hostages, and don’t worry about them, they have joined up with the Order and are fighting to protect Elementia. I was sad because your presence there confirmed our beliefs about who you are.” The mood in the room becomes very melancholy as he mentions, ‘who you really are’. You look around, and see that no-one is able to look you in the eye. “Who are you guys? Are you guys the Order? Is that what the Dragon Emblem stands for? And WHO AM I?!” Silence follows your rant, and it appears as though a Alex is about to say something when the ground below you begins to shake violently. A huge Obsidian Dragon rises from the ground below you, causing the walls and ceiling to begin to collapse. One of the knights punches a huge hole in the celling, and everyone begins to jump through it to get up onto the roof. You quickly follow them up onto the roof and away from the hole. Just then a torrent of black flames shoots up from where the classroom used to be. The force knocks you forward when a thought shoots through your head, Max and Sarah! You are about to turn back around when you see Alex jump up from the hole in the roof, with Max and Sarah unconscious in each arm, and a giant, black Dragon head snapping at the air where Alex was a second ago. Alex lands next to you and you yell, “What’s going on!?” Alex looks at you, with an intensity and seriousness in his eyes you wouldn’t have believed possible, and he says, “It’s Him.” “Who?” you say, and Alex simply replies, “The Master of Chaos.”
