I’ve caught two of the same for two examples:

two lvl 15 Volcoros, one copper and one gold
two lvl 60 Lupows, one iron and one gold

And they both have the SAME stats except for the ones modified by the gem, but the metal is basically worthless, so what’s up with that? /:

Metal types only matter if you bred the beast yourself, or used a shard to specifically change the metal type yourself. All wild beasts, regardless of what metal “type” they show, have stats reflective of an iron metal.
