Anyway; before we get started: This is a guide to the First Sonny, which is not as hard as the second. Also; there’s some stuff to read beforehand. And, O-Destroyer means Offensive destroyer, D-Destroyer means Defensive Destroyer.

Preliminaries

Classes and stat points

OK. There are 4 Classes – Destroyer, Assassin, Guardian, And Gunslinger.

Destroyer: This is A Strength Based Class, Very high HP and moderate hits. There are 2 ways you can play – Offensive; and defensive; as said by the class Description in the game. For this class; For the offensive build; put your attribute points on Strength; Vitality and some speed. Magic is Useless. For Defensive; Put Points in Strength and Vitality Mainly; Some into Speed And Magic.

Assassin: As the description says; this class Can Inflict very high burst damage; But has low HP. A major downside to this class is that you cannot use the buff Shadow blend, which makes speed go up by 500%. Put Ability Points in Speed majorly; Then strength and some Vitality. Magic is useless for this class; just like offensive Destroyer. The fact high speed means enemy’s miss you allot can counter the low HP.

Guardian: This is a hybrid class. Almost all the Class-Specific gear for this class gives lighting piercing; So It’s a good idea to get lightning bolt. Put points between magic and strength first, depending on what you prefer; then Vitality and some speed; but speed is not all that necessary.

Gunslinger: Before you ask, don’t let the name fool you – This class has nothing to do with guns. This, Is a magic based class, With very high damage but very low HP. Obviously; All the Gunslinger-Specific stuff Stacks Magic and Magic/Fire/Lighting piercing; So It’s not a good idea to get to many Physical attacks. Put points In Magic, Vitality then speed, put none In Strength.

Piercing and Defense

Piercing: Piercing Increases Critical chance and Damage from non-critical hits for the element It’s aligned to. Oh; and Physical counts as an element; by the way. The more piercing you have; the higher the respective element will hit. BUT! Remember that piercing is not as important as Strength and/or Magic.

Defense: Defense reduces the damage you take from that element. But; Few armors give defense; So you can practically Ignore this.

Difficulty level

When listing the enemy’s in a zone; I’ll give each enemy a rank from 0-10, 0 Being the easiest; 10 being the hardest.

Teammates

You don’t get a teammate Until Zone 2. His name is Veradux; He is a healer. He does not hit very high. I don’t know the multipliers; sorry. He has 5 (Or 6) Attacks:

Quick strike: Simply goes up and attacks the enemy.

Electro bolt: Fires a bolt of electricity, it can dispel Buffs.

Poison Bolt: Fires Poison that gives the enemy a weal DoT (Damage over time). When you get him; the initial hit is very low; A laugh-able 20 damage; but; When you reach the end of the game; there is an armor that makes this his only hard hitting attack.

Energize: One of Dux’s more useful skills. Makes whoever he cast it on Gains 10 focus each turn.

Heal: He has 2 types of heal; I’m not sure what the difference Is But I think One heals very high while the other heals moderate and dispels a de-buff. Only uses when someone is on low HP; but he seems to forget to use It allot.

You get 4 more teammates at zone 4; but I won’t deal with them, yet.

Oh; and there’s Louis I guess. But he can’t do anything…

Skills (Note: Very good skills will be in Bold. At the end of the desc; I will tell what class It is useful for at the end of the Description. I will also go down each In the trees they run in.)

Coup De Grace Tree

Smash: Deals A specific amount of damage depending on your strength, Plus a specific amount. At first Upgrade, It deals 160% Strength plus 5 damage. Useful for all classes but Gunslinger. Costs 15 focus.

Wound: An okay skill. Deals default damage, But causes the target to bleed which makes the victim lose HP for 12% of your Strength, and receive more damage from attacks. Costs 4 Focus.

Break: Ah… This attacks and stuns for one round. Very useful skill Guardian, Assassin and Destroyer; But If your A guardian or Gunslinger I recommend Shatter Instead. 10 Focus

Disruption: Useless. You will only use this for one battle in the game; and its still optional to use it. Get it; but for a prerequisite only. 5 Focus.

Sunder: Makes the opponent receive more damage. Combine this with Wound, and you can deal some great hits. 4 Focus.

Master Strike: This Deals some good damage; and scales with 70% of your speed; which means this is great for assassins, but useful for all but gunslinger. 12 Focus.

Coup De grace: Strongest Physical hitting skill in the game. Hits a specific amount plus a high percentage of your strength (260 + 150% of your strength for first 1/3). It also has high piercing (As stated in the game description of the skill) and 30% more likely to miss. this Costs a whooping 35 focus. Useful for all but gunslinger.

Solidity Tree

Iron skin: Can be very useful against Rock Golems; but… That’s really all you will need It on. And the armor set in zone 3 protects you from the much better; so don’t bother with more then 1/5. 3 Focus.

Regeneration: Don’t get this for the HP regeneration, as it is tiny – Get this for the focus regenerate. For the lower levels, blood focus is a better alternative. Still; very useful skill when gotten up to the high upgrades. Passive Ability.

Reform: This heals you for a gigantic amount If you have have strength. Useful for Destroyers. 5 Focus.

Solidity: Not necessary. Needs to be upgraded allot to be actually useful. Spend It on something more useful. Passive Ability.

Blood Tree

Blood Focus: Not really needed – Just very useful. Restores 40 focus at the cost of 3% life – Life veradux can easily heal back.

Blood Strike: An okay attack; But I don’t recommend getting it – there are stronger attacks that don’t cost life. Costs 3% life.

Endurance: Not needed. Just skip It. Destroyers and Guardians HP Rise enough not to need this; and Assassins and gunslingers Can just kill the enemy before they can kill them while Dux heals when needed. Passive.

Fire Tree

Flame strike: Deals fire damage for equal to strength and magic, and an extra amount depending on your level. A great attack – Just not completely necessary.

Cripple: Lowers speed on the enemy by a certain amount. Absolutely Useless.

Heroic Aggression Tree

Aggression: If your A defensive player; Then at zone 4; this is a Must have. Boosts Strength and magic by 20% – 35% + A certain amount per level. 3 Focus.

Heroic Motivation: If your a defensive player, This move is absolutely Awesome. Heals for a very high amount; and dispels up to 3 debuffs.

Magic Tree

Magic Bolt: Very useful for gunslingers, and guardians. Once again; Weakens to damage. 10 Focus. Useful to Gunslinger and Guardians. 10 Focus.

Electro Bolt: This is practically the strongest skill in the game for guardians; and is very powerful for Gunslingers, to. The fact this dispels one or more buffs is incredibly useful. 7 Focus.

Intervention: Not needed – Block is much more useful for the since It is not break-able. 7 Focus.

Subversion Energize Shatter Tree

Flame Blast; Very useful; but strictly speaking not all that needed. Puts A DoT that can do some moderate damage. 25 Focus.

Shatter: Hits virtually Nothing; But Stuns for 2 turns. The fact you can have this twice on the action bar speaks for itself. 25 Focus.

Void: Not all that needed; but can be a good damage booster. 5 Focus.

Subversion: Only needed for 2 battles In the game. Other than that; Skip it. 15 Focus.

Energize: Level 15+ Spell; restores focus at no HP cost. Ridiculously useful once you get it. No focus.

Spells that are not in trees

Block: Shields a unit from ALL damage for 2 turns. This speaks for Itself.

Brutality: Not needed. Same case as Solidity.

Zones

White November: Research Ship

This area is very, very easy, so Ill leave you to it.

Enemy / Level / Difficulty (Note: All bosses are in Bold)

Metabii / 1 / 0
Metabii / 2 / 0
x2 Metabii / 2 / 1
Zombie, Metabii / 2 / 1
x2 Zombie / 2 / 1
x2 Metabii, Zombie / 2 / 1
ZPCI Medic, Assault, Captain / 5 / 2

Metabii: Just do what Louis and the Voice tells you to, and the metabii will have no chance.

Metabii: See above.

Congratulations! Your first level up. Note: Don’t equip anything over quick strike and suppression. Destroyers (Offensive and defensive) and Assassins should get 1/5 smash and equip It 3 times. Guardians should get either 1/10 Magic bolt and equip it twice or 1/5 Smash and equip it 5 times. Gunslingers should get 1/10 Magic bolt and equip it twice.

x2 Metabii: Attack the bottom one; then the top one.

Zombie, Metabii: Use Suppression at the start and when needed; And kill the zombie first.

x2 Zombie: Suppression when needed, and kill the weaker zombie first.

Congratulations; Your second level up. Gunslingers should get 1/3 Electro Bolt; Guardians should get 1/10 Magic bolt and equip it twice or 1/5 Smash and equip it 5 times depending on what you got at the last (If you got smash; get Magic bolt this time. Vice versa with Magic bolt.) Destroyers and assassins should get 1/3 Bleed and equip it 3 times.

x2 Metabii, Zombie: Use Suppression at the start and when needed; kill the zombie first; same old same old.

ZPCI Medic, Assault, Captain: Suppression at the start and when needed. Kill the assault first, then the Captain; the medic last because If he runs out of focus all he can do is stand there.

Congratulations! You got to zone 2; And the easy badge. :P Easy; wasn’t it?

RECAP:

You should be level: 3

Destroyers and Assassins should have skills: 1 Quick Strike, 1 Suppression, 3 Smash, 3 Wound.

Guardians should have skills: 1 Quick Strike, 1 Suppression, 2 Magic bolt; 4 Smash

Gunslingers should have skills: 1 Quick Strike, 1 Suppression, 2 Magic bolt, 2 Electro bolt.

Ishiguro’s Rest: Ghost beach

From here on; Due to Training; I can’t completely predict level ups. First; do a training battle to get to level 4. Destroyers and Assassins should get 1/1 Break and equip it over a bleed; Gunslingers should get either 2/10 Magic bolt or 2/3 Electro Bolt. Guardians should get 1/3 Wound (That’s to get Break; which stuns).

Assassins should note the secondary arms specifically for assassins (Swift Blade). Gunslingers should buy the Pulse rifle. They will be useful weapons once you reach level 5. Guardians can get either of them. Also; If you get the moon-Stuck horrors as a drop; Once you reach level 7 that will be a great weapon for Destroyers and Assassins.

Anyway; Ill do the leveling as If your doing no training battles after the one that gets you to level 4.

Frost zombie / 3 / 1
x3 GSG9 Assault / 3 / 2
Ghost Samurai / 4 / 3
Ghost Assassin / 4 / 2
x2 GSG9 Assault, ZPCI Hunter / 4 / 3
x2 Frost Zombie / 4 / 3
x3 ZPCI Hunter / 5 / 3 (You get Veradux here! :D)
Ghost Samurai, Ghost Assassin / 5 / 3
3x Ghost Samurai / 6 / 4
Sensei Ishiguro / 7 / 6

Frost Zombie: Pro tip: Hit the enemy until it dies. If you can beat the captain; you can beat this.

x3 GSG9 Assault: Simply Use Suppression and break when needed. Same case as the Captain battle; only a little harder.

Ghost samurai: Same as above. First truly hard in any way battle.

Level up! Destroyers and assassins Should get 2/5 Smash. Gunslingers should get 2/3 Electro bolt or 2/10 Magic bolt (If you got 2/3 electro last time; get magic bolt. Vice versa with magic bolt.) Guardians should get block and equip it over one smash.

Ghost Assassin: Same as above. Watch out for the shadow blend buff; It makes speed 500% Higher, Making him hit allot higher.

x2 GSG9 Assault, ZPCI Hunter: Same as x3 GSG9 assault battle, Only a little harder.

x2 Frost zombie: Pro tip: Hit the enemy until it dies.

x3 ZPCI Hunter: You get Veradux :3 Anyway; he heals you. Very useful. Otherwise; Same as former.

Level up! this is the level Offensive and Defensive Destroyers start to separate: Assassins and Offensive Destroyers should get 1/5 Disrupt, but don’t equip It. Gunslingers should get 1/3 flame blast and equip it once. Guardians should get 1/3 electro bolt. Defensive Destroyers should get 1/3 Aggression, Equip it.

Ghost samurai, Ghost assassin: Standard Procedure.

x3 Ghost samurai: Standard Procedure.

Sensei Ishiguro: Boss of the area. To kill him; same procedure of the Ghost samurai; Just keep Suppression (And block if your a guardian) on when you can, and you should kill him.

I think you level up at Ishiguro. O-Destroyers and Assassins should get 1/5 Sunder (But dont equip it) while D-Destroyers and 1/3 Heroic motivation and equip It Once over one wound. Gunslingers should get 1/3 Shatter and equip it as many times as you can. guardians should get 1/3 Aggression

Congratulations; You just unlocked the third area and got the medium badge!

Gadi’kala: The Great plains

This is where things get a tad more difficult. Right now; If you did no training other then the level 4 on at the start; That means you should be level 7.

Assassins should note The bloody dagger & Bloody blade, Both built for assassins. Whats good, is that there is 4 armor sets for all 4 classes! For gunslinger; Its the breakers armor; For guardians; Get the menders armor; For Assassins; get the Strikers armor; And Destroyers should get the Knights set.
Also note the other full armor set that costs 99 Cash each item – This will be extremely useful against Rock golem and shaman of blades. One more note – This zone has not one; but 4 Bosses. I recommend the Menders armor for Veradux.

I really do recommend training when you get here; but feel free not to. It will make battles A lot harder though. Well; the easy battles are still pretty easy.

Shaman of blades / 7 / 3
Rock golem, Shaman Controller / 7 / 5
Devourer / 7 / 3
Totem, Shaman of death / 7 / 6
x2 Rock golem / 6’7 / 6 ’ 2 (2 if you have the defensive armor)
Rockstar / 8 / 6
Totem, Shaman of life, Rock golem / 8 / 6
x2 Devourer / 9 / 4
ZPCI elite / 11 / 5
Shaman of blades, Shaman of death / 9 / 6
Shaman of Life, Shaman of blades / 9 / 3
Dobeki the Striker, Vendetta the Breaker, Agralla the Mender / 10 / 8
Shaman Survivor, Totem / 10 / 4
x3 Devourer / 10 / 5
x2 ZPCI elite / 11 / 6
Zombie Ambassador / 11 / 2
Elite medic, ZPCI hunter, ZPCI elite / 11 / 7
Baron Bruixius / 12 / 7
Galiant the paladin / 12 / 7

Shaman of blades: If you can beat the sensei; you can beat this guy. Only thing you need worry about is his healing.

Rock golem, Shaman controller: Kill the rock golem first. While It is not needed now specifiably, I recommend getting 2 full sets of the physical/earth defense set – It will help you a ton in the future.

Devourer: See shaman of blades; Expect he can’t heal. If you can beat the sensei; You can beat this guy.

Totem, Shaman of death: If your a guardian, use block on yourself. If your A destroyer, Assassin or gunslinger; Use Suppression. Kill the totem as quickly as possible. Once you kill that; the shaman alone should not be to much trouble. Don’t be surprised if you redo this Fight.

Level up! D-Destroyers should get 1/3 Block; And equip it over 1 smash. Gunslingers Should should get 1/5 Void; But don’t equip it. Guardians should get 1/1 Break and equip It once. O-Destroyers and Assassins should get 1/5 Master strike. For O-Destroyer; you don’t have to equip It but I recomend it; For Assassin, Definitely Equip It: This move scales with speed, So you should hit very high with it. Equip It over a wound.

x2 Rock Golem: Definitely have a few peices of the Earth/Physical Defense armor; Or this will be difficult. Simply kill the weaker one; then the stronger one.

Rockstar: Possibly the funniest fight in the game. Simply the same as a rock golem for the major part. When he gets to low HP; He buffs his Defense to incredible Amounts – Simply stun him when The buffs run out then kill him then.

Totem, Shaman of life, Rock golem: First things first: Get some of the physical defense armor. Take out the totem first; as always. Then; kill the Golem. The shaman of life will not be able to do much alone; so just kill him.

x2 Devourer: Same old; Same old. Simply kill the first one; then the next. If you want; equip the Defense armor so the physical attacks will hit less.

Level up! O-Destroyers and Assassins should get Coup De Grace And equip it once. D-Destroyers should get 2/3 Heroic Motivation. Guardians should get 2/3 Electro bolt. Gunslingers should get 1/3 Block and equip it over 1 Magic bolt.

ZPCI elite: Easy. He can heal for 200 or so – not very much. Save your breaks or shatters for when he uses his buff named “Aim for the heart” It’s a buff that makes damage go up by 400% – Other then that; not much strategy needed.

Shaman of blades, Shaman of death: Can be a very dangerous duo Indeed. Get rid of the Shaman of death A.S.A.P – He hits huge amounts. Guardians; Gunslingers and Defensive Destroyers should use block; Assassins and Offensive destroyers should use Suppression. I recommend Using some of the Physical Defense set – It practically nullifies the shaman of blades. Once the Shaman of death is killed (Should not take long) The battle is won.

Shaman of life, Shaman of Blades: Kill the shaman of blades first. The shaman of life alone can’t do much. Easy compared to the last battle.

Dobeki the Striker, Vendetta the Breaker, Agralla the Mender: HUGE name D: Anyway – Get rid of Vendetta first. 2 reasons: High hits, and very low hp. A simple stun/Attack/Attack should kill him easily. Then; Get the mender: His healing is not as high as one would think, And you can keep up with It easily. Last; Get Dobeki: He can hit high; So stun when-ever possible. He can heal for 700, Like shaman of blades. I Recommend the Physical Defense Armor; Because It nullifies The damage Dobeki does. If you don’t have the physical defense armor; Then get rid of Dobeki before Agralla. Very hard, Very hard Indeed. Don’t be surprised if you have to redo this.

Level up! D-Destroyers should get 3/5 Smash. O-Destroyers and Assassins should get 1/5 Blood focus and equip it over 1 wound. Its a good Focus regeneration without having to dump lots of points in regeneration. Guardians should get Flame strike; and equip It over Smash(Note: Flame STRIKE, not flame BLAST). Gunslingers should get 1/3 block and equip it over 1 magic bolt.

Flag Post

Shaman Survivor, Totem: If you can beat the last battle; you can beat this. Still; Kill the totem first.

x3 Devourer: You should put some of the Physical defense armor on for this – Greatly reduces their physical damage. See x2 Devourer; only harder.

x2 ZPCI elite: Save your Stuns for when they use their aim for the heart de-buff – Other then that; same old same old. Once one is dead; The battle is won. The major problem is if Both of them use Aim for the heart in the same turn – Rare; But dangerous. Since you can Only stun one; You can wave one of you good bye.

Level up! D-Destroyers should get 2/3 Aggression, O-Destroyers and Assassins should get 2/3 Coup De Grace. Gunslingers should get 1/3 Aggression. Guardians should get 3/3 Electro bolt

Zombie Ambassador: See x1 Devourer fight.

Elite Medic, ZPCI hunter, ZPCI elite: Get rid of the Medic first, because he can heal and that gets annoying. Once the Medic is down; Kill the Elite. Not the hunter; Because Once his focus is gone; Like the ZPCI assault from the first zone; All he can do is use a weak attack. Once the Elite is gone; Kill the hunter.

Baron Bruxius: Re-spec for this fight. Your skills set, No matter your class, Should be: Get 3/3 Aggression; Get 3/3 Heroic Motivation, 1/3 Block, 1/5 Smash, 1/3 Wound, 1/1 Break.

Your Skills Circle should be: 1 Suppression, 1 Blood focus, 1 Aggression, 3 Heroic Motivation, 1 Block, 1 Break.

Let me make It clear right and now: If you were O-Destroyer, Assassin or Gunslinger, You are Not The main Damage dealer for the fight. Galiant the Paladin, A one time Teammate, Now takes that role.
Your role is A support character; Like veradux: Healing when needed; Dispelling when needed with heroic motivation (It also heals; so heal when needed). Always stun with break when you can. When low on focus; Use Blood focus. Block is for your own personal protection. Always have Aggression on Galiant; It will make him hit Allot higher. You will thank me when he has 0 HP left; trust me.

Galiant the Paladin: Re-spec; Using the builds, but with a few modifications.
Assassins and Destroyers should get: 1/5 Smash, 1/3 Wound, 1/1 Break, 1/5 Disruption, 1/5 Sunder, 1/5 Master strike, 1/3 Flame blast, 1/3 Shatter, 1/5 Void, 1/1 Subversion. Your skills bar should be: 1 quick strike, 2 smash, 1 shatter bolt, 1 Master strike, 1 wound, 1 Subversion.

Guardians and Gunslingers: For gunslingers; this is not much of a change. For Guardians; how ever, It is. Oh well. get 2/10 Magic bolt, 2/3 Electro bolt, 1/10 Intervention, 1/3 Block, 1/3 Flame blast, 1/3 Shatter, 1/5 Void, 1/1 Subversion. Have equipped: 1 Quick strike, 1 Block, 2 Shatter, 1 Magic bolt, 1 Intervention, 1 electro bolt, 1 Subversion.

Basically: Get him to around 1000 HP. when that happens; Stun him with shatter bolt. Then deal As powerful an attack as you can; but make sure you have at least 15 focus afterwards. Then; Subversion; And he’ll kill himself.

Congratulations; You just got the hard badge and completed the main Storyline!

The Infinity: Valley of illusions

An extra zone. There are 4 Difficult bosses, 3 Shops (2 Of which give the best armor for all 4 classes! :D), A training that scales endlessly with your level, and a special training that’s really easy that drops an item that sells for 2000 Currency! Anyway; all the shop armors are very expensive. 2000+. Also; all the secret boss drops an item that sells for 4000!
Anyway; Ill let you Build your own build from there on. Ill Write out the 4 bosses. I recommend Farming Galiant for the paladin armor for Veradux. Don’t bother with the sword – The judgement rifle is much better for him. Speaking of the judgement rifle; That’s the best weapon for Guardians. If you DO get get the sword; give it to Veradux It until you get the judgement rifle.
You get 4 Teammates here. The four Teammates each share one class you can use: Gunslinger, Assassin, Guardian, And Destroyer. Ill let you choose who you get. But, Don’t, I repeat, DON’T use the one that’s for your class. The Destroyer is a red zombie named Gligus. The Guardian is a zombie name Teco. The Assassin is a girl name Amber. The Gunslinger is a girl named Catelin. Have fun!

Ignition / 15 / 5
Omen / 18(or)19 / 6
Doctor Herregods / 22 / 4
Sinjids shadow, x2 Sonny Shadow / 25’1 / 9

Ignition: Note: You need 3/3 Heroic Motivation and 1/3 Electro bolt

When He has 3 Fire De-buffs or Fate on someone; Use heroic motivation on them. Have the highest speed! If you don’t, The person with higher speed then you will attack and die before you can use heroic motivation on them. When he uses Dark healing; Dispel it with an electro buff. Other then that; Easy.

Omen: Have your normal build, But if you don’t have a stun, GET ONE. If you use shatter; have 2 shatters equipped. When he uses The Dark omen buff on himself, STUN HIM. If not; If he hits ANY of you; Its a guaranteed death. Other wise, Easy, But It will take a while; and if he gets a lucky double turn or critical; you may have to redo this.

Doctor Herregods: Note: This requires Subversion

Simply get him to just over 990000 HP, But don’t get him Under. Stun him; then use a powerful attack. Then, when he wakes up, Use Subversion. If All goes well; He should heal himself for a whooping 2 million damage!. That will kill him. Use the same build you used for Galiant.

Sinjids Shadow, x2 Sonnys shadow: This guy is mean. He has 2 lacky’s that restore his focus; and he has an 100 focus 1HKO attack. When I beat him the first time, I was an Assassin – So I simply stunned him then used disrupt. Took a few tries; But worked eventually. That’s all Ive used to kill him… There’s a defensive way but I dont know where It is. If someone could post It here; It would be greatly Appreciated. The closest thing to It is this:

Sinjid: I have used Regeneration at level 7 or 8, I need focus to fuel constant Heroic Motivation on self – I didn’t use Iron Skin or survivor’s eq or glitches (though I should probably). If he refuels, use Block – he WILL launch his one-hit, the attack is Ice, and if you will be the target, good – no one is harmed. Attack with Quick Strike, heal with Heroics. I used 3 of these, two Blocks, 1 Quick Strike and I don’t remember what else. No Suppression tho.

Congratulations; You now have the second hard badge!

Perhaps the next Impossible badge for sonny 3 will be: “Defeat Rick Astley” Lol :D

Glitches

I put this at the end so you could not abuse them, as It removes the gaming experience. But; Once you reach the end; Feel free. And if you do use it before you beat the game; Your choice.

Eat Item Bug: If you have an item you are not using; In the invetory; Go on the character profile on the person you want to eat the item; Click options; Then click on the RED area. You gain the staffs; and only lose the stats If you re-spec. As a side note; Any Piercing/Defense You gain does not get lost if you Re-spec. This can be fun to play with :P

First Battle glitch: Simple. Lose the first battle (Tutorial battle versus 1 metabii), Then the maps will switch fast. When It gets to zone 4; Click Battle, (The red type), Then click skip turn and you get all badges. I tried this an hour or so ago; So I can confirm, that if it’s done correctly; It works. You have to have quick reflexes, however.

Block glitch: Use Block, then Intervention. You are immune to damage for 6 turns (adding turn with Block on, 7 – that’s enough to repeat the pattern). (Credit to Vesperbot for this)

Tips and Tricks

Know your enemy’s strengths and weaknesses: For Instance; Once the ZPCI medic in the first zone runs out of focus; He can’t do anything.

If you know how to set your computer clock a day forward; that means you cap re-spec as many times as you and Use the special training in the 4th zone every few minutes. Very useful for making Cash fast and If you have to Re-spec allot.

If there are 2 enemy’s of a different level; Kill the weaker one first.

I’m still looking for typos! If you spot any, tell me!

Credit to Vesporbot. He’s been a great help.

This guide is finished…. In all Its false Awesomeness. OK; leave now. Get out. (Kidding!). Now; Get the hell out. (Kidding still!)

Flag Post

well. This game has a set of bugs that render this guide obsolete… anyway, ANY battle is possible to be pushed through with: Regeneration level 3, Block level 1, Heroic Motivation level 2, Electrobolt level 2. In case of Dr Herregods, add Subversion. Use Quick Strike as your main weapon, Electrobolt as emergency when enemy gets nasty buffs, Heroic Motivation to outlast any damage dealt by enemies. They usually run out of focus pretty quickly, then stop being a threat. More Regeneration is needed if you take less Block, or fight Sinjid.

Flag Post

You play a guardian with smash instead of electro bolt? Electro does twice the damage at half the cost and dispels buffs… I really love guardians, but I never use anything from the physical tree at all.

I find fire blast and shatter bolt to be VERY expensive – only 3/3 seems manageable.

Actually, for guardian and gunslinger as well, I like to stick to only a few skills. Magic bolt & electro bolt for attack (plus quick strike), heroic motivation to help with the healing now and then, iron skin against the golems just like you described, but lots of regeneration to stay focused. No blood focus, because it eats up one turn. Suppression and block can be very useful as well.

Flag Post

the only useful skills from physical tree are master strike (and a lot of speed eq, deals high enough damage and speed helps it not to miss), coup de grace (although its long CD is troublesome) and break, but a waste of 7+ SP to get coup is greatly detrimental. Intervention has a bug, I personally never used that, but if you do, you PWN period. IIRC Shatter costs 5 focus less per upgrade, the addition to piercing is negligible. Iron Skin is an early heal, you can use it if you’re assassin or gunslinger, to get twice tougher than before, combine it with Suppression, and you get 1 damage/attack for 4 turns – nice, and after Iron Skin falls, you end up with part of those 100 HP bonus still over yourself. Anyway Heroic Motivation or Intervention supersedes this by far. But in case of Rock Golems, if you have some of the “Survivor” gear, it’s a great plus to defence, and it also makes the Shaman of Blades pretty much harmless.

Flag Post

Well, my classic Sonny1 strategy is play as a guardian, equip myself with as many defensive/healing skills as possible( Not only the quite powerfull Supression that you already start with, but Block, Iron Skin, Regeneration etc.), and basically let the enemy waste his attacks on me as he hits me for pathetic( When not nule ) amounts of damage, until he run out of focus. THEN, and only THEN, I unleash my full firepower against then. For my experience, this tend to be a very effective strategy, althought, so far, I couldnt get past the Death Shaman( I am level 8 ). I mean, I can beat the Death Shaman, and I can beat the Toten, but both is just too much, not only they hit for insane amounts of damage, as they can heal WAY faster then my party can damage then. I am stuck.

shaman of death plus totem? yep, a troublesome duo. Take a lot of Heroics with ya, and a Break if you have it. Do a little damage to the Totem every now and then, and in case it won’t heal but will be at 50%, electrobolt the totem. I remember that I had to replay that battle several times to first eliminate the totem with unified attack (magic bolt+electrobolt), then heal self out then whack the shaman.

The nice thing about the shaman of death is, he has NO move without focus, and he cannot refocus. The totem, though, has to go.

That’s a preresquite for break. I see I forgot to add an electro bolt into the guardian build – my bad.

Also; If the guide is bad; only say It’s bad guys….

Right on most parts; but that wont work for omen.

IIRC in Sonny 1 only Sinjid can refocus, and his shadow minions possess “re-energize” buff that’s same as Veradux’s.

awe862, why is it so? If Omen charges up, you Block. Boom, 0 damage taken. Veradux dies? Pity indeed, but let him. He’s only good for 27k single attack with full paladin’s eq. You can do the same with patience. Or you might spare a turn with Shatter instead, as it’s a prereq to Subversion, and you are to get it anyway for the next battle.

Block? You need to use the turn with omen to deal damage – he has 320k HP for Pete sake!

As for shatter; Yeah; I guess that could work…. Would take ages.

Uhhh. What about the Item-Eating BUG?
Also, nice guide.

Ill put that in now. Putting stuff like that at the end so you can play the game properly.

Anyway; Guide finished I guess…

Also, nice guide.

Thanks ^^

Much more positive and mind refreshing than other obsolete and inferior guides. Although you could have done more on the Illuminator boss, hmm?

Lol. Do you know what I think when I read that?

“This Guy needs to learn some grammar.” Lol

Still; I’m not perfect either :P

So; If that guide beats your Free will to a bloody pulp; What does MY guide do to It?

Also; Maybe you need to upgrade your free will skill to 3/4, 4/4 or 2/4 If Its getting killed by a thread :P

Pal’s reinforcements battle: ZPCI Hunter has no moves which don’t require focus, so leave him alone and outheal anything he’s done, he will soon fall silent. Just rip Elite then.

About PC clock forward – should it be needed, if only for re-specs? You can whack Shadows for $500 indefinitely.

About eating items and re-spec: didn’t know about piercing/def bonuses not losing if you re-spec. This means go eat some Survivor’s eq, and pwn anything regardless of needing to re-spec. Also, you can feed Veradux or other teammates with this. You actually said so, but mostly people feed Sonny with this. The only other target to feed might be Veradux and Paladin’s eq because of ridiculous poison piercing amount. Also, when you re-spec, Veradux should not lose his stats along with piercing/def (Didn’t check), in this case you can feed any spare eq to Veradux and concentrate on healing him, he’ll bash the snot out of anything before long.

Another glitch: Use Block, then Intervention. You are immune to damage for 6 turns (adding turn with Block on, 7 – that’s enough to repeat the pattern).

Thanks. Changed the Strategy for that battle.

I Found It faster to abuse that to get all the Armor In Z4. Its faster; But still; Farming Illusions is still fast; And gives ridiculous EXP.

Hehe. Yeah; That would be funny. I got Vera to hit 230k On Omen once using that :P I don’t use that on my main profile; however. Still; I have a gunslinger profile that used that. Because 1-Shooting Omen with Electro bolt isn’t funny.
Also; Every Physical attack done on me; Without ANY De-buffs or buffs, Hits 1 due to Eating over 30 Sets of the survivor set.

Thanks; Added that and gave you credit ^^
