[READ ME] Connection / login problems

If you are in one of the following situations:
- Error “null” at launch
- Loading blocked at 0%
- Loading blocked during progress
- Black screen after loading is complete

Make sure you are not in one of the following situations:
- Using Avast! Disable it, it’s “Web Shield” is known to block flash sockets (and think of replacing it, it’s bad!)
- Using a 3G/3G+/4G connection: Carriers add restrictions to these networks that can cause connection issues.
- Using a public/free wifi connection: Network restrictions may cause connection issues.

Relaunch the game
Press F5 and make sure the whole Kongregate page is reloaded.

screw that; avast is the one of the best antivirus programs out there. gtfo, mang.

i agree, crazymunky, avast! isn’t a bad antivirus. o.O

now if you were speaking of something along the lines of norton (and don’t you dare say that one isn’t bad) then i’d agree with you, sublinet.

give me a “good” reason and i may consider disabling avast!, otherwise forget it.

Avast! is bad, it’s popular cause it’s free. Blocking ordinary networking features because you can’t do the job properly is a dead give away :)

But let’s not get off topic.

I also had trouble… moreso with performance than with access. Avira was the root cause. I have wised up to the Anti-Virus BS. These free apps are resource hogs that provide Virus Protection. Do you, gamer geek, really need PROTECTION? No. Detection and Removal is sufficient if you have a robust maintenance plan that includes regular scanning. No more virus programs on my machine thank you.

ALL of them sucks, only wise choice is that if you are using Microsoft Windows XP/Vista/7/8, than you should get and use Microsoft Security Essentials (MSE) instead of Avast/Norton/Avira.
