What do you mean by " clicking Z button "? All you need to do is press the " Z " key, the way you described it it sounds like you’re doing it with your mouse.

idk why.. but for me it takes few clicking for it to change the mode.. :S

I have this problem too not to major tho
it is major when im sniping with the SCAR-L on 1 bullet mode and then i need to shoot someone close
i click 4-5 times and only then it changes to a multy bullet mode
