resource hog.

Firstly, this is a great game. The resource demands for this game is over kill. It’s like using a hand grenade to kill a fly. There is no need for super fancy 3D resource hogging graphics. This game freezes up everything on my computer. I had to close the game out just to type this forum. It takes forever to load the game. If the game even loads at all. Half the time there is a error. The game play of this game is great. Lowering the bar on system demands would not take away from the game in any way. Eventually the high demands of this game will make me stop playing and I don’t want to stop. Maybe have a settings system to lower demands by a lot (80% or more). Also have those settings be remembered on login. I would think simplifying the game would greatly lessen bugs increase game speed and generally make the game more enjoyable to play.

Well, first comment is to “upgrade your system”…
Second comment is… “I need to upgrade my system too”…
MY system is a lower-end system from early 2006. A LOT of games (mmo’s with downloadable clients) that I play have had their system requirements… increasing by a LOT over the last 7 years (tho, the STATED resource requirements remain the same). A lot of these games have prettier graphics/particle physics put in (useless effects that can’t be turned off). It would be nice to have a game that’s kept somewhat simple, or, at least a “low-graphics” type mode, to allow those of use with lower-end computers to enjoy the gameplay as well, even if we can’t fully enjoy the full animations/graphics.

So, yes, I do plead to have a “simpler” version available that is a lot lighter on system resources.
