Might be a bit silly to try injecting a productive thought into this topic, but a few quick thoughts...
* Ryu has already previously shot down an idea that would have resulted in "messy" clone caps (I think it was in a topic on the Steam forum, idea was for a challenge reward granting % boosts to the clone cap instead of the idea he had been considering for a challenge reward which would have been some sort of bonus value added to future clone purchases, he opted for the straightforward 10k clones in the CBC reward instead of doing anything complex with it)
* an idea should be considered based on it being able to do some good, an idea shouldn't be considered just for the sake of "trolling" any portion of the players (this topic has blatantly focused on the second option as its sole reason)
* (Just spitballing an idea here.) A more likely suggestion to actually happen might be a (GP or real money) purchased upgrade (or a set of them) presented as a limited opportunity discount pack (similar to the one-time-only pet token purchase for real money being at a heavy discount compared to the other real money purchase options for pet tokens) with that package added as a new possibility to drop from lucky draws as well (just like how the four extra crystal equip slots can both drop from lucky draw and be purchased). But I'd guess that even that would likely deal in something like ten increments of 10k for a total gain of 100k clones, or something just as rigid. No oddball values. (Side note: CBCs and anything else with heavy restrictions like UBC or UAC would likely disable these packs from functioning. Also disabling that possible drop from being able to come up in lucky draw.)
EDIT: An alternative thought for a "clone starter pack" idea... GP shop only, not suggesting this for a lucky draw possibility... So you know how when you first start the game, the "soft cap" is raised +1 for every 20 clones created or every 20 clones killed. Suppose that there's a limited-availability series of options that follows this behavior:
1) if first 99,999 buildable cap has been reached you may pay 5 GP for "clone builder v2". This creates another 99,999 buildable cap, except this one is raised +1 for every 25 created or killed.
2) if previous 2 buildable caps both reached you may pay 10 GP for "clone builder v3". Same thing again, except now it's +1 for every 50 created or killed.
3) if previous 3 all reached you may pay 25 GP for "clone builder v4". Same thing again, except now it's +1 for every 100 created or killed.
4) if previous 4 all reached you may pay 50 GP for "clone builder v5". Same thing again, except now it's +1 for every 250 created or killed.
Not counting the use of any of the permanently available options that raise the cap directly instead of using that original build mechanic, this would allow 5 x 99,999 = 499,995 clone cap to be reached in this manner for a total cost of 90 GP and with the behavior that each next set of 99,999 is slower to build up than the set before it.

(Although some care would need to be taken around limiting it for CBCs, like disabling the clone starter packs from functioning and disabling just that possible drop from being able to come up in lucky draw (same way that possessing the max number of crystal slots blocks (or ought to block) that from dropping from lucky draw))
