Many people here probably have heard already, but kongregate will shut down most of their community things and won't allow new games anymore.
Sad times for devs on kongregate and also players who liked to chat or ask questions in the forum.
While kong will be closing sooner or later, ITRTG will still stay. You probably can still play it on kongregate until they do some further shut down but as for the chat, if you want to chat with other fellow ITRTG fans, you can join the discord channel: https://discord.gg/r2u6VNU
The discord channel is also a good idea to inform yourself about my new game(s). I will likely release my next game in the beginning of next year, sadly not on kongregate anymore and go for Steam instead.
When the kongregate forum is closed, you can also go to the steam forum instead and ask questions there if you don't want to join the discord: https://steamcommunity.com/app/466170/discussions/

Will new versions be uploadable? I don't think they would, if new games won't.

"You will still be able to play our existing library of over 128,000 amazing games and developers will be able to update their games as normal."

Yea, all 128k games are amazing, definitely.
It's just cringy to read.
"Most other forums will be moved to a read-only state in which administrators can make announcements but players will not be able to post. This will not affect the forums for Animation Throwdown, Bit Heroes and other Kongregate-created games."
I'd just storm their forums with non-kongregate-created games topics.
Keeping their own games communities active? Nononono.
