We have some issues with Mac compatibility and at the moment we find that users of OSX Snow Leopard 10.6.1 and neighboring versions are unable to allocate units. We need to collect more information from Kongregate Mac users:

(1) For Mac users who have been unable to allocate units, do you have the latest Flash player installed?

(2) For Mac users who have been able to play the game without problems, what OS version, hardware and browser do you use?

Thanks.

I’ve been playing with no problems. I’m on 10.5.8 of Mac OS X with Safari. Nothing special.

I have some issues, such as invisible items, disapearing tabs, and being unable to enter a battle, all of which seem to be resolved by refreshing.

os 10.4.11
Safari 4.0.3
flash 10,0,22,87

Hi,

I am a Mac user and I do not seem to be having any problems at all. I can allocate resources just fine. I am using MACOSX 10.5.8, Safari Browser 4.0.3 (5531.9), Flash version 10.0 r22 and my processor is Intel Core 2 Duo. Good Luck! Thanks for the game! You guys should consider a sci-fi version with spaceships instead of castles!

Initially I had no problems, then suffered from lag, couldn’t check in-game mail and inventory. But then I switched to the latest version of Firefox and now it’s working perfectly again. Mac OS X 10.5.3.

Seems like an OSX 10.6 specific problem, will be extremely difficult to solve.

I have snow leopard and can’t allocate troops, I run safari but I tried Chrome and tried Firefox too, neither worked… So I can’t really play…

It’s a Snow Leopard problem, we will be looking into it but it’s extremely difficult to fix when it’s platform version-specific.

Yep it seems to be snowl leopard. I am running a macbook pro, snow leopard and using firefox. I can do everything except allocate troops.

10.4.11, OS X on Safari, the only thing I cannot choose is where my allocated units go (so if i try to place a unit in the front lines, it sometimes just flies to the back, though im not sure if everyone has that)

Oh I’m not sure if this would have to do with mac OS X, or if it’s even an issue but when I open my mail in game, there is usually a message saying you have received a gift, I open the mail and there is no message and I can’t click the obtain item button. I can only close the message.

If it’s lucky chests that it’s giving though, I think I get them because every now and then lucky chests appear in my inventory, usually a few minutes after the message.

Nother error, not sure if this is mac specific or if I did something wrong but I got a market and tried to trade resources (I had an abundance of wood, so I tried to trade some wood for some of everything else) and when I tried to do it system information came up and said “null”, so I couldn’t do it.

I’m on OSX Version 10.5.8 as well as firefox 3.5 and the lastest version of flash, and have been unable to play the game thus far due to the “unable to connect to server” error. Very lame =/
