Hi guys,

I think as a developer we should interface with the community more often and I will try to make a thread once a week talking to the very active Kongregate community about Heroes of Gaia. I’m really thankful that many of you are continually enjoying our game on a daily basis and hope that we will retain your support for many months to come.

(1) NEW SERVER

We opened the new server Narcissus today and this will help reduce lag as the other servers were pretty full. We are spreading the player population abit better and giving some players a chance to start again in a fresh environment. In the future we may merge servers when needed in order to inject excitement into relatively stable game environments. I certainly hope you have fun in Narcissus!

(2) GM COMPLAINTS

Some of the threads mocking our GMs are really embarrassing, and while I wonder the necessity of it all I do realize that as a company with a part of our operations based in China we get attacked relentlessly as many players in the West have a very bad impression of Chinese companies due to gold farming and the like. On my part I am committed to increasing the quality of our GM services and also decreasing the amount of regular questions by properly integrating a FAQ or Guide section for the game. (3) BUGS + UPDATE

We are preparing the next Heroes of Gaia update codenamed BABEL. It is very close to completion. This update eliminates a TON of bugs and is far more stable than our current OB version. I’m also really excited in seeing how all of you will like the new content in BABEL, and we will continue to offer large update patches once a month or every two months.

Next year there are even greater changes planned: music, added Guild functionality, Guild buildings, etc.
