Dino Run (locked)

Post here about Dino Run. Cheats, egg locations, trophy how-to’s, you name it, you post it. Also please if you know them, the buy-able stages that have super eggs.

I’ll start by listing all the cheats, in order.

Dinoracer, leapinliz, calcium, explore, astrosaur, goofballs, goodbyesun, smokey.
There are two hat codes I know, one unlocks a very special hat the other unlocks the rest. Totinos and don8tosaur.

Here are the cheats

Top Speed: dinoracer

Mega Jump: leapinliz

Super Strength: calcium

Goodbye Doom: explore

Low Gravity: astrosaur

Boulders = Balloons: goofballs

Lights Out: goodbyesun

Meteor Storm: smokey

Then the code for all the hats and colors is: don8tosaur

Code for special hat is: totinos

Location of all the eggs
T-Rex: Level 3, in the right face of the hill with all the tunnels through it.

Giga: Level 2, on a vine at the bottom of the big cliff.

Magno: Level 6, inside the top-right of the first volcano.

Iguano: Level 4, inside the hill with the tunnels, above the waterfall.

Alien: Level 5, halfway through the level inside the big meteorite on the ground.

Spino: Level 2, at the bottom of the first big cliff all the way on the left.

Oloro: Level 4, at the end of the underground part, on top of some platforms.

Rinch: Level 3 Underground on a platform. Also in the Planet D Speedrun.

Diplo: Apocalypse, inside the top left of the last volcano.

Bronto: Inside last cave of Insane difficulty.

Wow, you’re kind of a dick for giving away a pay-only donation code that gives extra little goodies that don’t influence gameplay at all.

May someone please tell me if it’s possible to get any super eggs on easy? Obviously not Diplo, but others please. Thanks.

You can get most of them in easy but not diplo or bronto

Yeah, it’s possible, and what I did. Could you describe the T-Rex egg better?

I also know 2 secret endings to the game. And it doesn’t include the last survival on Insane. ;)

1. Secret Survival: I think this has to be done on at least medium to work. Anyway, on Apocalypse, get to the giant volcano. (The one with the Diplo egg in the top.) Instead of heading up, there should be a lighter path heading down inside the volcano. Take it. At your first intersection, head up and left. Continue to head left, and you should run down a tiny passage, that leads to a quicker survival, instead of actually finishing the entire level.

2. Paradise: This has to be done on Hard or Insane in order for it to work I believe. Same level. Same volcano. Different path. Head into the volcano and start towards the Secret Survival. Instead of going down, head up and to the right on another path. It will lead to a fake dead end. Continue right, and there will be a portal. Head through and you will be transported to a secret island! Free of that bothersome Doom Wall.

NOTE: I have not had the chance to confirm either of these because of the Diplo egg. I tried to go back but the Doom was already over the entire volcano.

Basically, the T-Rex egg is at the top of the mountain. You’ll know which via a T-Rex skeleton in the caves of the same mountain (although if you go this way, then you’ll have to backtrack a bit). The “right” way is to go over the mountain, and you will stumble upon a large boulder at a peak, a downward slope, and a pit followed by a ledge too high to jump to. You have to ride the large boulder down the slope, and jump off of that to reach the ledge, and continue on. The egg is in a small cavern with a rather small entrance, so slowing down might be a good idea if you haven’t seen it before.
Also, this is a good place to get the boulder ride trophy, if you haven’t gotten it yet.

Still trying to look for the Paradise

I think there’s a mistake, the Gigano egg is in level 5, a bit before the alien egg, in a cave at the bottom of a large hill.

that part’s also in level 2, so it’s possible to get that super egg in 2 levels.

I’ve found that all terrain except valcano are of certain patterns, just randomly put on different levels. You can alos get giant eggs in speedrun, if the random generated track contains the part with the eggs in it.

@ Scapegoat02: I can’t find that secret path in medium challenge. A very thin wall block the way, so I can’t go left in the passage. I haven’t tried hard or insane, though.

Ah, then I believe it can only be done on hard or insane.

how do i get the rinch egg (the one on a ledge in a cave)? I have tried jumping, both on and off the triceratops to no avail. please advise

You need 5 jump 250dna

You get on the triceratops jump off of it and if you have 250 dna hit shift for a boost and you got it.

youve got to get kinda lucky. even with maxed jumped it is rather hard.

Eat something, there are a couple of lizards/runners (still can’t tell the difference) down there I think and they make you run faster and jump higher – take a run up from the right hand slope.

Is it just me, or do the boosts from eating last longer than the boost from shift?

PROTIP: For the donation code, all you need is a penny and a Paypal. You’ll get the code for donating a penny.

Also, when you donate, bookmark the thank you page. There’s always going to be someone that’s giving out the password, and it’ll get changed as soon as the developers find out.

And the Planet D speedrun makes getting the Rinch egg easy. It’s low gravity and almost guarantees that the egg will show up. You can unlock Planet D by completing an Insane Challenge. Cheats work for unlocking Planet D.

My solution to the Rinch egg without needing tons of DNA or an unlocked Planet D: get behind the triceratops and push him to the right. Once he’s past the boulders and walking toward the exit, the jump from his back to the egg is entirely doable.

Is there a possibilty to see which milestones i already completed and which not?
