I like. What’s your population in Build City mode? Mine’s 5773 at the moment, but I still have three squares with no towers in. Darn Yellow towers, I only managed to build on all the way, but I got 4 good places for them. I wonder what’s the best layout to get the most yellows in?
I think the population needed for special rooves is 100+ for blues and 400+ for reds. I’m just trying to upgrade all my blues and reds to special.
you have to remodel quite a few times in order to get most efficient city structure…im assuming once this is completed it is possible to have most of the map yellow and green buildings…im at 8038 now…and climbing
I've just been trying to figure out how bonus points are awarded and what the maximum tower populations are. Its frustrating. As far as I can gather, you can get four per level for perfect stacking, with a set bonus for the roof (32 for blue for example), and the bonus is some type of exponential. I think its either based on the floor your currently on. I've been running through all the possible combo combinations to get their +pop bonuses in an attempt to understand how they're creating the exponential increases. The good news is that it doesn't matter if one perfect follows another for the purpose of the bonus. There's no effect, only the number of floors placed matters. The bad news is that its weird. Here's a few little charts of the bonuses that I've gottten so far. All of these are with the blue tower. keep in mind that for the blue tower the first floor is the door for which you receive no residents and the tenth is the roof (which you can receive +32 residents for perfect). The format is "[Floor#-Floor#-Floor#]etc, +[pop bonus]" Singles 2, +2: 3, +2: 4, +2: 5, +2: 6, +3: 7, +3: 8, +3: 9, +3: Doubles 2-3, + 6: 3-4, + 7: 4-5, + 7: 5-6, + 8: 6-7, + 9: 7-8, + 9: 8-9, + 10: Triples 2-3-4, +13: 3-4-5, +15: 4-5-6, +16: 5-6-7, +17: 6-7-8, +19: 7-8-9, +19: Quadruples (4) 2-3-4-5, +24: 3-4-5-6, +27: 4-5-6-7, +28: 5-6-7-8, +30: 6-7-8-9, +33: Pentuples (5) 2-3-4-5-6, +39: 3-4-5-6-7, +41: 4-5-6-7-8, +45: 5-6-7-8-9, +48: Hextuples (6) 2-3-4-5-6-7, +58(?): 3-4-5-6-7-8, +68(?): 4-5-6-7-8-9, +??: Septuples (7) 2-3-4-5-6-7-8, +81: 3-4-5-6-7-8-9, +??: Actuples (8) 3-4-5-6-7-8-9, +109: I remember someone once made a joke that through carefull observation of amoeba, it was theoretically possible to deduce the existance of, for example, bread pudding and cost-accountacy. I've starting to understand that joke now. Also, if someone could please tell me how to get this blasted thing to create lists, that'd be wonderfull too. And another note. The highest possible pop for a blue tower is 173 (+32 pop for eight perfect floors, +32 perfect roof, +109 Bonus) Post if you're finding this helpfull or can make any sense of the number sets btw. I'd run it through the equation generator on my TI-98, buts with three states away right now.
