I didn’t see a topic for this, so I thought I’d make a thread.

Discuss your thoughts and opinions on this fairly good strategy game here.

IMO, I think it’s a really nice strategy game, although there could be some minor tweaking here and there.

I agree, it’s a great game, but needs some tweaking.

I loved Advance Wars, and I love this. :D

definite tweaking. Bug fixes and a definite need for a sandbox and a versus mode

i say it needs a level editor and more units.

It now has badges, so start posting some tips and walkthroughs!

Hmmm…I was playing level 9 (I think) and the enemy just gave up producing units after a while. It had all its factories and controls, but it just stopped constructing and let me win (I wasn’t doing too well at the time!)

What did I miss? How do you capture an oil field?

They came out with another card challenge rather quick, I was still into the former game. Lol, but its alright, working on the hard badge.

These strat games are the bane of my existence. My friend used to devastate me in chess when I was real young. Perhaps that is why I loathe these games so much. Any help with the levels is appreciated.

I think its a good game, but its such a striaght rip of advance wars nintendo should get royalties if it wins the weekly…

I like turn based strategy games. I think I would enjoy playing it while earning for the badges.

iplayed this game for a long time last night,go to mission 9 then save and went to bed i wake up today my save is gone and i refuse to restart the campiane

try using “reload save” button. god,no one sees it!

It’d be really nice if it didn’t take minutes upon minutes for each round of the computer… never seen a slower AI. And no way to speed up the computer’s side of things. That’s my biggest complaint. That, and it’s WAY WAY too simple. The AI just sucks all around. Extremely noticeable in both cases on level 10… there is no way you should be able to win, yet it’s simple. Although it takes about an hour because of how long each round takes.

Slow dull games are not my favorites.
And this is a slow dull game.

In my opinion, it’s a really good game. I normally don’t like strategy game all that much, but I liked Batallion:Nemesis a lot. So much that I favorited it.

What happens is even if you psaved the game, if you turn off your comp or something and reload the page the resume from save isn’t there

My save file went away. I’m not very happy about it.

I gotta say, I would have been much happier with an 8-bit military tile-based strategy. Honestly, the graphics are not as important as the balance and difficulty should be. The game was way too slow pased, and very ugly.

I love this game. advanced wars is awesome, and we really need more flash games like this. I wish there was some new mechanic that spiced it up a bit, but it is fun anyway. good gameplay, solid production values

The only thing that I hate is the character design.
Every single one over your commanders and the main enemy have the same lame military outfit but each has a slightly different head! at least give them different color ties or something…

oh yeah, and I was dissapointed that only some of the units were named after animals. I think that if there was tanks with a little tail and planes with slightly bird like wings, the units would have more personality.. graphecs are good and functional, icon system is much better than advanced wars compicated text, and the heavy/med/light weapons and armor is hard to get at first, but makes alot of sense. And I’m done.

I love this game, but i cant seem to get past the island level, it takes so long for the enemy to take its turn, so in the end i dont actually die i just CBF

I think that this is a great game but needs level maker and multiplyer would be nice. They should also have some more bonus maps.
