COD4 vs COD5

which is better and why???

cod 5 is out already? damn I’m living in a cave.

nah not yet i was just wondering cause i got COD4 and i want to know whether i should get COD5

well nobody knows then. But from my experience.. with the sole-exception of unreal tournament 2004-ut3… I’ve never seen a fps sequel be inferior to its predecessor.

Well they’re going back to the WW2 approach.. unless they pull something off as amazing I’m sticking to CoD4.

I like ww2 style, but the modern warfare style was nice too. Mostly because there are none at all with cod’s level of quality. They probably should have stayed with that design since they pretty much dominated it. Now they’ll have to re-compete with the oodles of other ww2 shooters that are bound to come.. I haven’t been up to date on what’s being made but I imagine it wont be long before another ww2 battlefient/medal of honor/whatever is made.

I wonder why there are never any ww1 games >=P.

Fact is people assume its boring cuz they haven’t seen anything about it. WW2 would seem boring too if it wasn’t done so much when you look at laser guns, nukes, antimatter weapons, etc.

you can make a game out of just about anything. back when I was like 6 there was a super cool game about brushing your teeth ffs. (plaque attack, kudos to anybody who remembers that gem). On konga there are popular games about jumping and flipping as a dolphin. Hell, the sims was a hugely popular game (yes I know it is defined as a toy not a game), and that’s about waking up, getting dressed, eating breakfast, and going to work!.

There’s even a popular game about erasing stick figures from a chalkboard on konga.

CoD in WW1 would have you sit in a trench the whole game. SimTrench would have more fun than that.

cod:waw is not a numbered call of duty at all, because not all of them are numbered. even if they were all theyre own number, WAW would be 7, not 5, and thats NOT including the expansion packs, because of cod2:big red one. even though it says “2” there is a call of duty 2 and a BRO. in chronological order it goes: cod, cod:united offensive (expansion pack), cod:finest hour, cod2, cod2:bro, cod:road to victory (psp game), cod4:mw, cod:waw, cod:waw:war stories (ps2 game), and the recently announced cod:mw2. some of these are ports to console from pc, but are changed in a few ways still.

I just prefer COD4 since its not WWII. I’m just tried of playing WWII games. At least the next COD will be a squeal to COD 4 MW called COD 4 MW 2
